Where Judy says “Don’t worry. Just hold my hand”, shouldn’t it be “hold my paw”?

I think she’s saying that because… well… Jessie doesn’t have a paw

If it would be implied in the plural, I would understand, but Judy specifically points towards to herself. Like I’m not going to say “just hold my cat’s hand”, “Just hold hands” implies for both, would be better, at least for me makes more sense.
But hey, perhaps I am wrong. I’m not an expert in the language, and still got many flaws, so I appreciate your comment. Thank you.
