Kristoff SP buff + Jack Sparrow BD buff

I’ve been experimenting with Kristoff a lot. I noticed Jack Sparrow’s purple skill boosts ally basic damage, and scales with skill power (blue numbers). However, I’m not sure that Kristoff’s buff is actually increasing Jack Sparrow’s buff.

My Jack Sparrow currently grants roughly 225k basic damage.

My Kristoff currently grants roughly 140M skill power.

In theory, Kristoff’s buff should significantly increase Jack Sparrow’s buff during battle, but I did a comparison with and without Jack Sparrow in battle. Sven’s basic attack only increases by about 1.8M

I’ve tried testing with other Heroes, just in case Sven doesn’t count as an “ally” and have similar results. Minimal increase in basic damage.

Is this working as intended?

Passive effects like that one just aren’t affected by external buffs. It’s intended yeah. It won’t work for Jack but you can still pair Kristoff with someone like Chip&Dale to get tons of basic damage quickly
