You should make limited time Heroes. That means, we get limited hero chips through limited time events, they can’t be obtained from diamond crate or from any shop.
And you should make long solo events, means it’s not a ranking event. It is of 10 days event that we getting many tasks to complete and earn limited time Heroes.
Think about my suggestions…Thanks…
So you mean daily log in hero, VIP hero and guild crate hero.
I mean new upcoming heroes
All the people who play deserve to have all the characters. As you say you go to limit the game only to those who pay, this is not right. Only one method is needed to get the chips more easily, because it is now too slow as a method.
Heroes like those should be very advanced, Maybe like tamatoa
Not a fan of this suggestion. It would be incredibly damaging to players who join after the event. From my understanding this is an hero avalible only for a limited time earned by completing some convoluted tasks and not attainable outside of that. Now if those events cycled that’s one thing or heroes availible during certain holidays e.g. if Jack Skellington was only obtainable around Halloween that would be find. I don’t believe that to be the case at least based on the phrasing of the OP. Limited heroes to be seen once and then never again.
Like I said before it would screw over players who join after said event or those that dont complete said event in time. Not at all something I wish to see in the game. Limited exclusive with the VIP crate is one thing but those eventually get other sources to get them once they are replaced. How heroes are handle at the moment is absolutely fine.
How about no?
What Darktower84 and Kinokan have said, this can be a very bad idea. All the heroes should be obtainable and available to all players. Holiday-themed heroes or event cycles might be acceptable… might, but this can be executed horribly and make the game pay-to-win. We’ve already seen events in the game where paying players have an advantage over non-paying players to quickly finish the contest and place themselves in the top 1%, thus granting them hero chips and immense rewards to keep them ahead of the game.
I say that’s a great idea. They could come out with example Mickey and only available for 10 days. So you try hard to get as much as you can. He than dissapear and can come back 6 months later
it would only be for those who pay, for those who play for free it could be impossible. unless they are missions that make the character available for free. example: you have 20 days to do a number of missions.
I played in games where there were time missions to recruit a character, but after a few months it was made available. while the person who did the post would only want timed missions and then the character will lose him forever, it does not seem fair to everyone.
It’s a great opportunity to players who did not play game too much. I play a game, there are many limited time Heroes that came in 10 days solo event and came some month again and again. If you hard work for some days then you can get it without p2w. I did not spend any money in this game but I reach level 80 in 2 months because I play hard in this game. It’s not required to p2w. Players are love heroes and they try to get him.
How fast you level up occurs regardless of whether or not you have an effective/high-tier hero. This is due to the fact that the game offers daily quests and events (Arena, Coliseum, City Watch, Heist, Surge, etc.) which, collectively, gives a generous reward to active players. These are accessible to all players regardless of the amount of money they invest in the game. Aside from the fact that paying players do have the ability to hasten their progress by refreshing timers and purchasing more stamina (to name a few), this does not give them an unobtainable gameplay advantage over other players since everyone can catch up eventually.
Limited heroes can introduce that because you have heroes, with unique abilities and stats, that may never be obtainable by a significant portion of the player base. This can create disparity between those that can afford the time and/or money to get these heroes and those who can’t, and may affect gameplay as a result. This can in turn create a sense of unfairness among players, which may turn players away from playing the game.
Now unless this is an reoccurring event, which has been stated before, then this might be less of an issue since (eventually) every player has the chance to obtain these limited heroes. However, it doesn’t eliminate the fact that some people (with jobs, constrictive schedules, etc.) don’t have the luxury of investing that much time into something so time-intensive.
No way, this would be far worse than fortify the network events, it ultimately punishes players who start playing the game when these events are over.
Every hero should be obtainable by everyone, some easily for free, some with cash, some with the patience of a saint.
But characters should NEVER be completely locked out for others. I’ve played other games that do this and it’s disgusting, needless to say I never played those games for very long.
Dis is the reason Y I like disney heroes so much!
After some thought, I realize why this suggestion hits a nerve with me. It’s because it uncannily reminds me of what goes on in KHUx (Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]), and I’m grateful I abandoned that dumpster fire a long time ago. For those of you who don’t know, KHUx is (currently) a mobile game developed by Square Enix, Disney Interactive and Success Corporation, and published by Square Enix as part of the Kingdom Heart series. The game requires players to obtain collectible Medals for their characters to use as attacks. Damage, skills/spells, stat boosts, and effects were created by specific Medals when equipped by your character. Player could level up these Medals and evolve them.
One of the main problems with the game was that Medal events (I think they were called Banner events or something) would often be hosted and limited-edition/limited-time Medals would be featured as the prize. Some of these events required players to invest gems into their random summon generator/lootboxes/gacha game, of which a majority of summons pulled in trash Medals because ordinary Medals and premium Medals would often be mixed in the package.
Others, on the surface, were accessible to all players as they required players to play through event-specific levels/missions. All well and good, granted the players were ahead of the game or made efforts to keep up with it as higher level missions, which were required to finish the event, would curb stomp players who didn’t equip specific stat-boosting Medals and so forth.
Then there were the Medal collection events where players could either pull these Medals through random summons (by investing gems) or playing the increasingly difficult missions. These events had prized Medals that could only be obtained if you collected the necessary amount of material Medals to synthesize them. Of course the paying players could easily do this as A) they had the money to keep themselves ahead of the game and B) had the resources to basically gamble away until they got what they wanted.
It only got worse as the events, as I was playing the game, would introduce increasingly harder enemies with each passing events. What players saw were enemies with HP pools that kept on getting larger and larger in what seemed to be the game catering toward high-end players instead of adjusting accordingly to different players. Of course you could easily win these missions and defeat these enemies if you could bag yourself the event-specific Medals. Which, surprise surprise, was easily obtained by the paying players.
Now eventually these Medals would be accessible to all players, but only through their random summon generator, which as I have mentioned before had common medals mixed in. So the probability was abysmal, especially when KHUx kept on saturating the game with new Medals in what felt like every half month.
Recently I’ve heard they’ve implemented VIP-only Medals, which has only caused more resentment in the player base. Additionally, PvP has been utterly trashed because of these highly unobtainable Medals with high-paying players being the only people that can afford to pull game-breaking combos and buffs to retain their high rank and win tremendous rewards which feeds the unbreaking cycle.
Square Enix, specifically SENA (Square Enix North America), could have implemented measures and regulations to keep their game at least competitive and fun for all players, but I guess they can’t stop themselves throwing more wood onto the dumpster fire that is KHUx.
So in short, this is a bad idea and Disney Heroes and PerBlue doesn’t deserve to become another mobile game dumpster fire.
