Would be nice if all exp gained, while waiting for level cap to be raised, would overflow into a storage bank able to hold 2 or 3 levels worth of exp. Then when level cap raised we get 3 levels right off the bat
This is one of those ideas that sounds great on the surface but would actually make the game far worse.
One of the biggest problems this game has (and has had for a long time and is unfortunately getting worse by the day) is the huge gap between the players who spend large amounts of cash on it and those that don’t.
By allowing people to hoard xp all it would mean is that the spenders, who usually manage to hit a new level cap within hours of it being launched, would automatically have yet another way of instantly expanding the gap. It’s bad enough that all the new heroes that get released are ridiculously overpowered and stored behind a paywall and all the contests these days can be won with cash, any new initiatives that make this worse can only harm the vast majority of players.
@Lord_Skellington is absolutely right, it really wouldn’t work in practice. However, I do agree that all that XP going to waste is a shame - perhaps once we’ve hit the level cap, daily quests should then reward something else (hero XP?) in place of team XP
Or Gold. I’d suggest gold at this point.
