The title pretty much says it all. S&N can die in combat if they are first up front when they are supposed to be linked with Meg. Meg stays alive while they die.

They are right. I used Meg, S&N, and Woody in a battle on auto. Meg linked to Woody, who is a mid-liner
Edit: Same with Miguel. I think this hapoens because of S&N’s Entrance

Just so you know Megara cannot auto-link to Quorra or Baymax either - they join the fight later than everyone else, so to speak. Same for Simba & Nala I assume.
Meg can only auto-link to them if they are the only other teammate of hers.
And curiously enough she auto-links to Aladdin just fine although he enters the battle in the same way and with the same timing as Baymax - flying with style.
