My friend and I moved guilds during the current contest. Both of our guilds, old and new, got the last 3 prizes but we didn’t.
You won’t receive rewards for a guild you switched to during a contest.
Both my old guild and new guild finished and got the prizes. We didn’t.
So we didn’t get prizes from either guild even though we helped both
There’s a 24 hrs period before you can participate in a guild contest at a new guild. This is probably to prevent player from switching to strong guilds at the end of the contest and receive all the rewards for little effort. It also means that you didnt actually contribute, as you arent in the contest until after 24 hrs.
You helped your last guild, but you only get the rewards if you actually stay there when they reach it. Otherwise everyone would cheat the system and skip guild to get rewards from multiple guilds.
Doesn’t make any sense. I scored tons of purple bits in both guilds. Told you that already. My personal points should carry over with me, not wanting anything extra, just the rewards earned
It does make sense. It isn’t intended for you specifically. There are plenty of people who could (and definitely would) abuse the system and get multiple sets of rewards unfairly if this rule wasn’t in place.
Also important to say both guilds reached the top score, so both guilds unlocked all rewards
The system should award the one set of awards earned. That’s fair and honest. Not wanting multiple
Personal points don’t matter at all. You need to have been in the guild for 24hrs at the time the rewards are earned. It sounds like for the last 3 tiers, you weren’t. Simples!
During the 24hrs, your contribution doesn’t actually count. Your Purple Badge didn’t generate any points for your new guild. Hence why you didnt receive the reward when the guild reaches those last tiers.
Of course this makes sense. The game doesn’t want people to move to guild to guild to get extra prizes. Yes you found many purple bits but the point of a guild contest is to stay in a guild and help your guild. It’s a guild contest, not a guilds contest
Your just NOT listening. Participated in the first guild, in the contrast, helped them reach the first two milestones. Moved guilds, yes, 24 hour wait for points to count again. The again participated in the contest. BOTH guilds got all milestones and BOTH guilds got 5% rewards. I am of course owed the prizes—any fair game would have awarded them. I understand that you devs and dev adjacents don’t want to do the programming to make this a fair process. Just like when the game “lost” 4 10x diamond crates after an update. Nothing but a sorry. Meanwhile we’re spending real dollars here.
Once again, and for the last time, the milestone rewards are only given if you were in the contest (meaning the 24hrs are done) when the guild REACHES it, not at the end.
You would have received the rewards if the situation was as follow: you participate, your first guilds got the 2 goals, you then leave for the second guild which has NOT reach the remaining goals, wait 24 hrs, parcitipate, THEN reach the remaining goals. That would have gotten you the full reward set, and fair for both you AND the guild.
In your case, when you ditched your last guild, your contribution stopped. Sure you might have helped them got 2, but it wasn’t your effort that helped them reach the remaining prizes. Ask the question; could that guild have reach 5% without me? If the answer is yes, then your contribution wasn’t as substantial as you thought. Would it be fair if someone who spent cash all through the contest receives the same prize as someone who spent some, but left halfway through?
For the second guild, if the guild has already reached the checkmarks, then your participation AFTER 24hrs wasn’t crucial. You’d probably receive the 5% prize (if After 24hrs the contest isn’t over), but not those previous checkmarks. Afterall, they had already done it, so you were just there for the finishing stretch.
Seems like you are the one not listening. Or reading patch notes that explains new features.
You helped guild A achieve 2 ranks before leaving, so you got those rewards. Progress rewards are instantaneous. Any rewards they achieve after you leave are irrelevant to you. You have now joined guild B, but there is a 24 hour cool down on participation and rewards. Guild B unlocks all tiers during your cool down period so you get none of them as you are ineligible to receive them since they are given out immediately.
Now, if you had been in guild B for longer than 24 hours and didn’t receive rank rewards for placement at the end, THAT you can open a ticket about. If you had been in the guild for less than 24 hours when the contest ended though, you are ineligible due to the cool down.
The cooldown is meant to prevent this exact scenario. If they achieved a rank reward without your participation, you didn’t contribute and thus will not get the reward. It’s to prevent guild hopping during these guild contests. Whether you like it or not, this is actually fair.
What about the personal ranking rewards that you recieve at the end for personal progress/contribution? Are they transferred when you switch or “lost”? Since the OP is talking about the 5% rewards, could it be the ranking rewards that they mean?
We’re 2 people in a 2 person guild and it’s just not that fun. But it’s not that fun to lose the personal progress in the contest either after spending a lot on it. Can a guild be absorbed by another? To transfer both the people in it and the progress made in the guild? x)
