My Final Review

Well, I have officially finished Watching both seasons of Gravity Falls. Now, before I fill my head with its theories and preditctions of Season 3 (which may have come out already but I do not know if it did), I am here to give my final analysis.

SPOILER ALERT!!

Favorite Characters:

  1. Waddles!
  2. Wendy
  3. Dipper

Honorable Mentions: Kandy and Soos’ Grandma.

Least Favorite Characters:

  1. Gideon
  2. Mabel
  3. Soos

Dishonorable mentions: Stanley, Stanford.

Favorite ships:

Dipper: Pacifica

Mabel: N/A

Favorite Episode: Soos and the Real Girl

Ratings:

Characters: 9 of 10
Plot: 6 of 10
Effects: 8 of 10
Comedy: 4 of 10
Theme Song: 10 of 10!

Total: 37 of 50 = 74%

All in all, I enjoyed it. the sibling bonding was interesting.

Now, the major question:

Do I think these characters should be within this game?

While I went through the series, I analyzed every fight scene they did, and…it was not the most impressive ever.

The kids did a shocking amount of running away through out the series…and they never even really beat Bill Cipher in the end.

The strongest candidates, Imo, Is Wendy and the two gruncles.

Wendy: She is…downright scary with an axe, has apocalypse training (which would work well in her favor in the city) and she is an expert at wielding the crossbow.

Gruncle Stan: He has brass knuckles, and some strength on the side, making him, a possible candidate in the city.

Gruncle Ford: He has a magnet gun that he uses like a pro and who knows how many years of experience while in another dimension.

Their is of course, The Last two to consider only since they are the main characters.

Dipper and Mabel Pines: Now, as we learn in the show, they are stronger together than they could ever be apart. Therefore, I propose that they (if added) either are made as one character or are made in such a way as too compliment each other’s skill sets very well.

Did I miss anything in this assessment?? :thinking:

Well there’s no season 3 yet (if I recall correctly the creator said he might write another season) but there are many companion books. Yes, I loved Waddles! He was the best. I’m surprised you didn’t like Soos. I liked him, he was a bit dense at times but he was good-hearted. The grunkles were pretty shady characters but in the end they were also good? But I’m glad you enjoyed it! As I’ve said before, this was definitely one of my favorite 2010s Disney series.

The Grunkles were always technically good, and they may have defeated Bill in the end by wiping him out in their minds, But they also screwed up the magic circle that was supposed to banish him.

Even Pacifica held hands with…Not even gonna try to spell his name. The Hillbilly.

If she could do it, Mabel could hold hands with Gideon, Then…yah know.

I feel like Mabel could be support and Dipper could be control (The Shrink Flashlight thing gaved me that idea). But yeah I love the show and would love to see them in the game. No clue why it was Flagged either.

@Champion_David I didn’t flag you but I am offended. WHY! I liked all the characters. Especially Stanford Pines, he is one of my favorites (That is my name by the way). Also, HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE MABEL!!! You know she is based off of Alex Hirsch’s twin sister (I think her name is Abigail). And Season 3 of Gravity Falls is sadly unlikely since Alex Hirsch left Disney for Netflix. And I also know Dipper’s Real Name…

To answer your question, I dislike Mabel becuase of how selfish she is. When you think about it, she acts like a spoiled brat. Not in the way Pacifica does, but she breaks her promises to Dipper, doesn’t always seem to care about his future, and didn’t even wanna help him beat Bill Cipher the last time.

Now, to be fair, all the characters I disliked did have the moments where I appreciated them, and I understand why some people would like them, but in real life, meeting someone with those personalities…well I do not think I would like them.

In all honesty, I liked the first season better than the second. Gruncle Stan having a brother, just…kinda ruined the show for me. Of course it makes sense, but I did not really like their being another Gruncle.

Not to mention, the biggest mystery of Gravity Falls: Where Did Gruncle Ford get his glasses from?? His fell off when he fell into the other dimension, but when he comes out, he has another pair.

Side Note: Does anyone know what the Goat’s name is??

Maybe…? The goat that is sometimes out side the Mystery Shack and who, in one episode, Mabel taped to Waddles (talk about animal cruelty)

And I guess you are right about Mabel. But she at least sacrificed the imagination land for Dipper
