I’ve gathered all the possibilities for new characters in 1.6 and here’s what I’ve tallied up.
1.6 Patch Notes
New heroes added to our squad,
Elsa,And Olaf, From disney’s frozen
Jack Skellington From Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas
Belle, And Beast From Disney’s Beauty and the beast
Those heroes would fit nicely for the season and five heroes at Christmas sounds like a gift I’d like to open 
Yes, I also have another idea , like instead of getting credits, or diomands in sign in dece,ber, I thought we could have a few hero chips for certain heroes each day, like a coutdown to christmas
Maybe each of the twelve days of Christmas you could get an increasing number of chips to match the day in the song

Usually not the best idea to throw people at a wiki to share news, since it can be edited by anyone. However, dataminers tend to have a good track record with this stuff, and they’re the reason I’m currently sitting on 60 diamond crates. Once Lumiere is officially announced, I’m opening every single one of them.
Eh, I’m usually sceptical until they start showing hero icon pics. That said, I do believe Jack was being saved for Christmas anyway, so it’s quite possible they’re onto something

If they do add Jack, I bet you anything he’s friends with Miguel. Because if Miguel isn’t friends with the MUSICAL SKELETON I don’t know who will be.
The story could be something like Jack finds out about the Day of the Dead and is immediately intrigued, but rather than cause another fiasco like he did with Christmas he decides to ask Miguel about it
Had Sully not just gotten a new friendship with Mickey I would have also guessed at him and Jack having a friendship, where Jack tries to get Sully to help scare people on Halloween or something. I guess anyone “scary” could have that one, but Sully would fit best because his job is (or was) about scaring people too
If he comes out for Christmas I imagine his other friendship will have to do with that holiday in particular
I am guessing Olaf will be there too. Hope he is the sign in hero.
