You can’t post a screenshot until your trust level 1 (in simple terms, when your name tag is no longer grey)
I think I saw this bug happen to me as well, did it say the boss was being attacked when you went to attack it? Or does it just not let you?

Normally u just have to wait lil bit, then you should be possible to do your attacks
