So i was looking at the contest and i am confused? It shows to score it says “win city watch with goofy” for X points “win city watch with goofy” for X points but one is like 83 points and infinity and the other is like 8000 points but a max of 30? and it does the same for clear infected areas and spend diamonds??? Is it meant to be 6 different things to score or just 3 and if so what are the points?
The contest is configured correctly. It’s giving ‘bonus’ points for a limited number of times you do a task, and after that the points drop down to the standard rate.
Did they actually put Goofy in the Game? I couldn’t find him yesterday, and the game won’t go passed the loading screen for me now.
I’m assuming this is meant to alleviate the frustrations of people who couldnt finish contests before, yes?
Quality move on your guys part if so. I hope this is the new scoring style from here on out!
We’re celebrating, so this contest is much easier than normal. We would welcome feedback on the new format once you’ve given it a try!
Thanks.! If thats the case then it seems like it will be great and easy to accomplish.
Having not played it yet, it looks like this scoring system will be great. Gives the regular player a way to amass a good amount of points by doing the basic tasks (the point caps aren’t really out of reach for anyone), while also offering points for the spenders who go above & beyond to compete at the top.
My only gripes with this contest (on s3) are firstly that the progress rewards, while plentiful, seem a little… dated - offering badges most long time players will have limited use for.
There’s also an enormous gulf in rank rewards between top 5% to top 1%, which I realise is designed to incentivise pushing for the 1%, but even so looks a little too steep.
I did notice that the rank rewards were a bit weird. The bottom ones seem to give you Nick chips and the higher ones give you the costume threads? Is this intentional? Don’t think that I have seen this happen before.
It should be Threads in the rank rewards. We’ll get that fixed up right away!
