New Debuff Concept: Countdown Stat Reduction

Countdown Stat Reduction
I was thinking about missing effects in the game. One that came to mind would be to have countdown stat reduction as a new debuff. Obviously where it stacked over time, it would have a minimal effect at the start of the battle but could be significant towards the end. I could see this being the exclusive ability of a toon, a friendship disk or perhaps even a red skill. We have energy over time, damage over time, healing over time, so it would be interesting to see a stat debuff over time not associated with a basic attack or certain ability use.

As an example:

Each second while ______ hero is alive, enemies lose X amount of (armor/reality) per second. This debuff can’t be removed but will occur less frequently on opponents level ___ or higher (reduction every few seconds, reduced this way as well on high tenacity toons)

A bit too OP… I think it should be timed.

There should be restrictions on it so it is not too OP, but it is a great idea!

Interesting idea, but unfortunately I don’t see it working too well in challengers, where winning fast is your goal. Unless they change the quick fight bonus.

Thanks, I could see it having a maximum restriction as well.

Debuff over time
…up to maximum reduction to 10%-30% of the enemies starting armor/reality ; reduce by 70%-90%

So As and example: If a toon started with 10,000 reality lost 100 reality per second, it would be capped at being reduced to 1000-3000 reality (which would take The full 90 seconds to reduce by 9000 to reach 1000 reality or 70 seconds to reach minimum of 3000 If the cap was 30%)

The percentage could also change as a friend disk was leveled up if it was apart of a friendship disk.
