In next update, I think Sulley needs a refresh. Months ago he was considered one of the finest tanks, everyone used him. Now that baymax, olaf, etc have come out, he has been pushed aside. Forgotten, insulted. He has so many counters that some consider him almost as squishy as zurg! Please hear me out and support him as our next refresh!

Sulley has even less armor than zurg at some levels, and as a frontliner he takes many more blows than zurg. I edited it slightly tho.

Now compare it to Zurg’s Stats, same conditions:

Conservation: 10%
Zurg tops at:
- Basic Damage
- Skill Power

The rest? Sulley tops it.
As much as you, and other players, want Sulley to have a buff, I don’t see any other reasons for that happening.
But hey, if you have a suggestion, you go for it. I’m not stopping you.

I would love to know which levels. Zurg has no resistance stats until Orange. Sulley also has about 3 times the health at almost all stages.
Sulley does not need a refresh, at least not more so than other tanks like Felix, Mr. I, etc. He has an infinite scaling purple, massive single target heal which becomes a team wide heal with Woody disk, massive fantastic damage with his blocks and is one of the best scarers which sets up so many strong fantastic damagers outside of Zurg. Jack Skellington, JJ, Elsa, Quorra, Maleficent, etc.
Yes he has low tenacity, and yes he does have low armor, but he has some of the highest HP in the game, a great amount of Reality and as previously stated, great sustain. He has weaknesses yes but any balanced character should. Sulley is fine where he is at.
Edit: Also presonally I still have Sulley as a top tier tank just below Baymax and Olaf who I believe to be the best tanks in the game at the moment. Alongside Hades, Sally and Ralph as just below top tier. My Sulley is Lvl 105 O3 Max enhancements and is my third strongest hero as of this post. I still love and use him and believe him to be a great hero that does not need a buff/refresh.

One thing to remember about Hero refreshes, is there are two kinds.
One is the main refresh which increases that character the most.
The second is what I like to call the sidekick refresh. These are minor buffs for two-three other heroes that work well with that hero or are that heroes friends.
One reason that Perblue prolly didnt choose Finnick is cuz of his friends.

Judy as one of (imo) the best supports in game. Buffimg both of them is…not the best idea maybe?
Perblue has to be careful who they Hero Refresh because odds are, once they do a character, even in a sidekick refresh, they will not do them again.

One thing to watch out is that, once PerBlue releases the buffs you’ve been asking for (or not), you’ll complain how stronger they’ve become…

Woody does not need more health and damage because that is not his role. He is a support character, one of the strongest ones I might add. He has the best attack speed steroid in the game, a healing mark to heal allies on hit, a charm on the highest skill power hero in the game and a lasso that can pull a high priority target in to take them out quickly.
Just because he doesn’t do damage does not mean he is useless. He works well with so many heroes because attack speed affects how fast skills hit. Quorra and Zurg are prime examples of this. If you want him to get a refresh explain how. A refresh is more than pure stats often times they include new mechanics and buffs to a designated disk. More health and basic damage does nothing for Woody except doing a little more damage and a little more survivability. It is not his job to do either.

I agree that he feels squishy sometimes. That’s probably because I don’t know enough about chars armor, resistance and penetration stats.
Sulley’s Max HP, Armor, and Reality is greater than Zurgs… then again, that contributes to his High HP and Defense because of his Tank Role…
Ok so woody doesnt really need refresh but u could go to vip right now and ask if sully is good, they will say he sucks dies too easily.

VIP chat is not a good representation of the balance of the game. It’s a glorified global chat in all fairness. There will be people who claim everything between x is op and x is too weak. There needs to be legitimate and objective discussion when it comes to this. Personal experience is definitely a key component in it as well but it should not be used in place of raw stats and the objective synergies that exist in the game.
I am not faulting your idea, I am faulting your reasoning. Perhaps Sulley and Woody could use some love but the areas you are focusing on and the, for lack of a better term “quantification” of said ideas are flawed, illogical and plain wrong.

Hum… . From what it seems to me Sulley doesn’t necessarily need a Hero Refersh, but rather some good Badges I assume given the conversation so far. Sure a little Sidekick refresh could maybe be something if that was what seemed best, but from what it sounds to me Sulley for the most part just need some good badges.
But yeah, we will see how it goes I suppose :-).

If you think he’s beating any of current meta tanks, sadly you’re wrong, he’s good only below TL80, after that he dies too quickly, won’t even heal with laugh skill.
While his damage is quite nice, he can’t control enemy at any way and die too quickly.
Refresh
+30% max HP
+20% basic damage
Each toy (blue skill) stun an enemy for 0.5s (and stacks)
Boost Ralph’s disk (give more heal when ignore a stun)

At most, they could buff the heal from sulley-ralph disc, but nothing else. Sulley is still good. No heavy refresh needed.
Also, woody is perfect for his Role. Please don’t touch woody

From what I see, Sulley is great, he becomes vunerable to Jack but not anyone else.

I don’t think a hero has to be meta for them to be good. Sulley is not top tier or meta, no one is contesting that point. Sulley is still a fantastic second string pick in Colosseum and GW and his PVE capability is still great.
To me hero refreshes are most reserved for those who are bad in most every game mode or completely useless. While Jack Sparrow and Hiro are not the first picks for them in my opinion there is no question that Jack is great now and Hiro is quickly becoming the annoyance he should’ve been on launch.
Sulley as stated previously is certainly not in that same situation. I believe Felix and Mr. I need refreshed on the tank side before Sulley is even considered. I would even place Mike before Sulley on refresh list. There simply is no need to refresh Sulley especially not before other more deserving heroes.
