They just one punch them. What, is their skills at max?
If a enemy uses the effect “Scared” on you fantastic damage always crits. Which could one hit kill you yes.
Its 100% fair.

Also worth noting that it’s totally possible to be crit without being Scared (since Hank & Dory are somewhat less likely to be scared) - based on the enemy Crit Rating.
