Not Clowning Around - Bowser Jr. Unlikely Concept

Hey everyone! I’m back with a concept of my favorite Mario character!

Bowser Jr.
Source: Super Mario Sunshine

Description: Bowser’s beloved, spoiled child is ready to wreak havoc on the battlefield in his Junior Clown Car.

Quote: “Someday… when I’m bigger… I wanna fight that Mario again!”

Role: Control

Position: Front

Stars: :star:

Trial Team: Red

Animations

Entrance: Flies onto the battlefield in the Junior Clown Car and taunts the enemy team.

Victory: Hops in the Junior Clown Car 3 times.

Defeat: Hits himself on the head with his fists multiple times.

Basic attack: Bowser Jr. punches the enemy twice with the Junior Clown Car.

Skills
White - Shadow Mario Paint (Fantastic Damage)
Passive: Bowser Jr.’s basic attacks punches enemies twice, damaging them with each hit. Bowser Jr. takes 30% less damage from melee attacks but 30% takes more damage from projectiles.

Active: Bowser Jr. turns into Shadow Mario and spreads paint all over the stage, dealing X damage per second and reducing enemies’ attack and movement speed by 80% for 10 seconds.

Green - Clown Kart Dash (Normal Damage)
Bowser Jr. races through all enemies, dealing X damage to them, knocking them back, and removing 300 Energy from them.

Blue - Clown Ground Pound (Normal Damage)
Bowser Jr. ground pounds with his Clown Car, dealing X damage to nearby enemies, knocking them back, and applying Pierce to them for 6 seconds. The Pierce has a chance to fail against enemies above level X.

Purple - Clown Car Chaos
Enemies who are knocked back have their Attack and Movement Speeds reduced by 60% for 8 seconds. This has a chance to fail against enemies above level X.

Red - Prince of the Koopas
Once per wave, when Bowser Jr. reaches 1 HP, he activates “Clown Kart” and heals for 50% of the damage he deals to each enemy.
When Bowser Jr. or an ally activates Pierce on a foe, they take 1% more of their Max HP as True damage for every 10% of an attack or movement speed debuff they have on them. Skills that debuff both attack and movement speed only count for this effect once. The bonus damage is reduced against enemies above level X.

Friendships
Bowser Jr./Huey, Dewey, and Louie
Campaign: “All-Out Prank War” - After Huey, Dewey, and Louie manage to successfully prank Bowser Jr., they start trying to out-prank each other, which only causes problems for everyone else in the City. (Allies: Madam Mim, Lock, Shock, and Barrel, Animal)

Disk: “Child’s Play” - “Shadow Mario Paint” Reduces Armor
+X Armor
Enemies lose X Basic Damage while slowed.
“Shadow Mario Paint” also reduces enemies’ armor by 10% (+10% per star).

Bowser Jr./Syndrome
Campaign: “Robot Ruckus” - Syndrome learns of Bowser Jr.’s machinery know-how and wants to use some of it himself. Bowser Jr. refuses and makes it difficult for Syndrome to chase him down. (Allies: Baymax, Gadget Hackwrench, Hiro)

Disk: “Remote Learning” - Larger “Clown Ground Pound” AOE

Note: The lower damage from melee attacks and increased damage from projectiles is a reference to the protective properties of the Junior Clown Car that appear in games like Smash, Paper Mario, etc.

Enjoy!
