Numi's Mode Refreshes Part 2: Heist and Invasion

I hope everyone has a great day today. :slight_smile: A bit late, but here is the second mode refresh feedback topic from me regarding Heist and Invasion (including mods, upgrades etc.).


HEIST
New tiers added for R10, R12, and then every 3rd rank.

Quick Fight introduced to Heist if you dare to try. If not, fast forward is automatically enabled for all Heist battles, so be quick!

Rewards altered:

  • Each difficulty gives 2x levels amount of disk power (so around 70k at level 325 and thereabouts)
  • Mod power given in about the amount equal to disk power
  • Stamina Consumables given in an amount of recommended team level/3 (108 at 325)

Other changes:

  • Heist ticket price upped to 700 per one in City Watch Shop
  • Heist shop now has a chance for one spot to have Memory Disk Bits (akin to Challenge Shop)

INVASION

This is a big one, thus differentiated into many small parts.

MODE ITSELF
Unchanged, except for one part. The rank of mama bots and enemies in breaker fights is determined upon your highest hero (akin to Codebase).


MODS GIVEN
Free mod is now given at +2 and level 10 for featured heroes. Third and fifth tier of supply crates have a +4, level 20 and +6, level 30 mod. First tier is the same as the free mod.


PROGRESS REWARDS
Tier 1 has 10x the amount of Max Server Level (3,250 for S1 and 14, 2,700 for 21-25).
Each tier progresses with 2.5x of Max Server Level more Mod Power (+812.5 for 1-14, +675 for 21-25)

Badge Tokens are given at a much higher rate - 200x Max Server Level for Tier 5, 400x for Tier 10, 600x for Tier 20, 850x for T29, 1200x for T40 and 2000x for T60.
(for Server 1: 65k, 130k, 195k, 276.25k, 390k, 650k = 1,706,250)

Stamina is given at higher rate - 1/3x MS Level (T7), 2/3x (T15), 1x (T25), 2x (T32), 3x (T55), 4x (T65).
(for Server 1: 108, 217, 325, 650, 975; 1,300)

Memory Tokens are given at higher rate - 3.5x MS Level (T2), 7x MS Level (T13), 11x MS Level (T21), 15x MS Level (T37)
(for Server 1: 1,138; 2,275; 3,575; 4,875)

Mod Upgrade Pieces are given at the rate of: 50, 100, 150, 200 (see down below why).


CHANGES TO MODS
HP mods now give a % of Max HP as bonus HP. 0.1% HP per level - max 13.0% per Mod
SP mods also give a % of SP as bonus SP: 0.2% SP per level - max 26.0% per Mod
BD mods give 0.3% BD per Level as bonus BD - max 39.0% per Mod

5th and 6th mod upgrades (priced at 125 and 150 upgrade pieces) are now unlocked.
Progress Rewards now give enough upgrade pieces to fully max a mod with upgrades.


SHOP
Aside from having the same stuff for boss tech, there is a 10% chance to spawn 2 additional slots that will have either Mod Fragments (50), 500k Mod Power, Mod Upgrade Pieces (50, random of all 9).

This is the end of refresh for both modes.

Part 3 should include Team Trials and Surge.

Might release it tomorrow, but there is a possibility you will have to wait till Friday, am very busy on Thursday.

Three suggestions from me:

  1. The Invasion shop should not sell anything for Diamonds, the intense lag causes players to buy this by mistake and anyone who has enough diamonds to buy those would have reached max tier by day 1

  2. Mods are not linked to team colors anymore, this is a historical limit that is not required anymore.

  3. The selling price for mods are increased 20x. Getting 7500 mod power for a mod is nothing

This was more of a measure than feature though.

This might not be possible now and I don’t think the devs would try to do this.

No non-Mega Mart and non-Black Market Shop should do this.
And even those two should have more items for Gold than Diamonds… but that will be mentioned in one part as well.

Reasoning? Why so expensive (more expensive than hero-chips might I add?)

Sorry, but this is a big no for me. Hero chips are already not easy to come by and this change would mean you’d have to have 25 chips to change for the hero you would want to equip it to.

Free mod should just not be changed

I would be up for it, if it would be an EXTRA free mod that is than +2 for a featured hero, but not as replacement.

For the rest it looks okay. Not that the modes will become more exciting for me though :man_shrugging:

Invasion pretty much the same, only change in rewards and Heist not an improvement for me personally (as the only thing I would want is a button that you cannot find Hideout before all circles are done)

Added stamina and higher disk power (about 5x more than what the highest tier of Heist currently has).

Each part is attached to each other. Part 1 should be done before this. And therefore 25 hero chips would not be an issue.

I tried to combat the biggest flaws of it - incredibly slow mode for no rewards whatsoever.
To be played even outside the contest - which imo could do this.

Yeah, ONLY change in rewards. But figure out how many current rank badges you can buy with 1.7M Badge Tokens and how many with the current 270K (if even).

How many disk bits you can get for current 5k Memory Tokens… and how many for over 12k.

How much more stamina is there than just 15 Stamina Consumables… 3,575 which is guaranteed one top Y18 badge.
