Old heroes refreshes

Now I’ll post all my refreshes here.

#1 : MAUI

So I think Maui is one of the worst heroes in game, in spite of his refresh.
And I think changes I’ll show here will help him take his niche.

               Maui 

Basic damage +70%
Skill power +100%
Max HP +150%

Shark Bite
Passive : Maui takes less 0,75% less damage for every 10 energy he has.
Active : When enemies within melee range of Maui have less than X HP, he transforms into a shark and bites them, dealing X true damage.
Maui won’t use this skill until he can KO an enemy.

  • Now Maui takes 0,75% less damage for every 10 energy instead 12,5% less damage for every 500 energy.
  • Damage +100%

Take Flight
Maui turns into a hawk and sends gusts of wind at enemies. The two closest enemies are dealt X damage, knocked back and got “Stopped” status for 6 sec.
Stopped enemies can’t move on the battlefield.

  • Damage +150%
  • Now this skill also gives enemies “Stopped” status for 6 sec.

Psych Up
Maui does a motivational dance at the start of combat to grant his allies Courage, which increases the energy gained from taking damage by 80%. Maui is invincible while doing a motivation dance. For every stack of Courage active on his team, Maui heals X per second. Courage is kept on allies to the end of wave.

  • Now Maui is invincible while doing a motivation dance.
  • Now Courage is kept on allies to the end of wave.
  • Level depending is removed.
  • +100% healing.

Hooked
Courage from Psych Up also increases Armor and Reality by 60%. Maui gets X armor for every Courage status.

  • Level depending is removed.
  • Now Maui gets armor for every Courage status.

Faced With Greatness
Maui gains 1000 max energy. When an enemy is knocked back, Maui steals 75 energy from them.
Now Courage can’t be removed by enemies.
+X armor
+Y max HP
+Z skill power

  • Now Courage can’t be removed by enemies.
  • Removed “Psych Up” longer effect because changed blue skill.
  • +50% armor; +40% max HP; +50% skill power.

Moana’s Disk - “Master Navigator”
Level : +X max HP for allies whose role is “Tank”.
Stars : +25% max HP for Maui and allies.
+20% energy gain from all sources for allies.

  • +50% max HP for allies whose roe is “Tank”.
  • +5% max HP per star for Maui and allies instead 3% per star.
  • Added +20% getting energy from all sources for allies (4% per star).

Genie’s disk - “World’s stage”
Level : +X skill power
+Y max HP
Star : “Shark Bite” steals 100% of the target’s energy and 5 his buffs (1 per star).

  • Added buffs stealing.

So, I tried to tie all Maui’s moves to energy manipulation. And I think it’s right niche for him.

#2 MOANA

Actually, Moana’s skillset isn’t bad, but she needs a stat buff and some new effects.

                  Moana
  • Basic damage +70%
  • Skill power +40%
  • Max HP +50%

Oceanic Shield
Moana shields herself, protecting her from X damage for 9 sec and gets 3 stacks of hardy. While shielded, Moana gains 200% attack speed.

  • Shield is active 9 sec instead 6 sec.
  • Added 3 stacks of hardy.
  • Shield HP +100%

Into the Fray
When Moana falls below 50% HP, she jumps at the closest enemy with her oar, dealing X damage and reducing their armor by 50% for 7 sec. Moana then stays in melee range, attacking with her oar for the remainder of the fight.

  • Damage +50%
  • Added armor reducing.

Love and Protection
Whenever someone on Moana’s team, including Moana herself, uses their active skill, the spirit of Moana’s grandmother heals Moana for X HP. If Moana heals more than her max HP, she convert rest of heal into a shield.
This effect can not trigger again while the spirit is on the screen.

  • Now HP, healed over max HP, is converted into a shield.
  • Healing +20%

Wayfinder
“Love and Protection” also grants Moana 150 energy and 15 Armor negation. This effect is reduced when the ally is above level 215.

  • Added Armor negation effect.

Powerful Wave
When Moana is shielded from any sources, her basic damage is increased by X and heals herself for 60% of the damage she deals. The basic damage bonus is doubled when Moana is below 75% of her max HP.
The heal has a chance to fail if the source of the shield is level 215 or higher.
+X Max HP
+Y Basic Damage
+Z Armor

  • Healing increased to 60%.

Merida’s disk - “Friend of a Feather”
Level : +X basic damage
Star : “Into the Fray” jumps at furthest enemy; “Into the Fray” triggers when below 75% max HP and deals 50% more damage.

  • +200% basic damage
  • Now “Into the Fray” deals more damage (26% on 1 star and +6% per star).

Mickey Mouse’s disk - “Day at the Beach”
Level : +X max HP; +Y Reality.
Star : “Oceanic Shield” also grants the shield to weakest ally that has 120% HP of the first shield.

  • Now disk gives Reality from level.
  • Now percent of shield starts from 40% and increases by 20% per star.

I guess this changes help Moana be more tenacious and be more useful in teams with normal damage.

I guess you’ll be agreed that he is one of the worst tanks in game. I’ll try to change it.

                 Rex

Basic damage +200%
Skill power +300%
Max HP +80%
Tenacity +200
Reality +50%

Stampede
Rex charges through enemies dealing X damage, knocking them backwards to the end of battlefield and decrease their tenacity by 100 for 9 sec.

  • Damage +300%
  • Now this skill decrease tenacity.
  • Now he knocks enemies back the end of battlefield.

Mighty Roar
Rex roars, dealing X damage and silencing enemies for 10 seconds.
Also Rex can’t be scared and takes 20% less fantastic damage from all sources.

  • Damage + 1000%
  • Silence duration increased to 10 sec.
  • Now Rex can’t be scared.
  • Now Rex takes 20% less fantastic damage from all sources.

Dino Might
Rex headbutts nearby enemies, dealing X damage and knocking them backwards.
Rex has 50% chance to block shield on affected enemies.

  • Damage +200%
  • Now Rex has 50% chance to block shield on affected enemies.

Shield Eating Dinosaur
Rex deals 150% more damage to shielded enemies and heals X HP every time when attack shielded enemies.

  • Bonus damage converted to percent from numbers.
  • Now Rex heals every time when attack shielded enemies.

Terrifying T-Rex
Rex gains 8 Crit Damage per buff he has. Timed buffs on Rex also don’t expire as long as he has at least 1 non-KO’d ally.
The first time each wave when Rex would be KO’d, he instead cleanses all debuffs from himself, activates “Stampede,” and heals X HP.

  • This is good one I think.

Woody’s disk - “Partysaurus”
Level : +X armor for shielded allies;
-X armor for shielded enemies.
Stars : Attack speed +40%;
Allies deal 30% more damage to shielded enemies.

  • Bonus damage for allies against shielded enemies converted to percent (10% on 1*; +5% per star) and moved to stars.
  • Attack speed increased (8% per star).
  • Disk level now gives armor for shielded allies and remove armor from shielded enemies.

Mike’s disk - “Ship Shape”
Level : +X max HP and +100 tenacity per ally whose role is “Damage”.
Star : Rex and allies takes 30% less damage.

  • Now disk level gives tenacity to allies whose role is Damage.
  • Now disk stars effect is taking less damage for Rex and allies (6% per star).

I guess this changes would be great for Rex and make him shieldkiller.

#4 URSULA

Ursula was a one of the most promising control hero when arrived, but her bad stats didn’t let her be good enough for PvP. So, it’s refresh for Sea-Witch.

                    Ursula

Basic damage +50%
Skill power +25%
Max HP +35%

Poor, Unfortunate Souls
Ursula applies “Hexed” to all enemies for 8 seconds and deals them X Damage. If enemies attempt to use their active skill while under the effect of “Hexed,” they will be stunned for 10 seconds.
Enemies affected by “Hexed” will still consume their energy if they attempt to use their active skill.

  • “Hex” duration increased to 8 sec.
  • Stun duration increased to 10 sec.
  • Damage +600%
  • Removed level depending.

On The Hook
Ursula uses her magic shell to remove 600 energy and steal 300 of them from the enemy with the most energy. Every 5 sec Ursula gets 50 energy.

  • Removed energy increased to 600.
  • Now Ursula also steals 300 energy by this skill.
  • Now Ursula also gets 50 energy every 5 sec.

Ruler of All the Ocean
Ursula whips nearby enemies with her tentacle, dealing them X damage, knocking back the closest enemy and stunning him for 7 sec.

  • Now Ursula also stuns effected enemy for 7 sec.
  • Damage +500%

Something For Nothing
Enemies receive 0 energy for KO’ing Ursula’s teammates. Ursula’s energy can’t be stealed.

  • Now enemies receive 0 energy for KO’ing all Ursula’s teammates (instead one).
  • Now Ursula’s energy can’t be stolen.

Trifle Toll
Whenever a Hexed enemy receives a buff, the duration of the Hex is increased by 4 seconds.
Whenever an enemy loses energy, Ursula gains X skill power for the rest of the wave. Ursula retains 50% of the skill power from this buff in the next wave.
+X damage to “Pour, unfortunate souls”
+Y skill power
+Z reality

  • Now second effect includes Ursula’s white skill
  • +100% damage to “Pour, unfortunate souls”

Hades’ disk - “Signing bonus”
Level : +X skill power;
+Y damage for “Pour, unfortunate souls”
Star : 200% of energy blocked by “Pour, unfortunate souls” and “Something For Nothing” is distributed to Ursula’s allies.

  • +100% skill power
  • Now disk level gives damage for white skill
  • Now star effect include white skill

Tia’s disk - “Crab mentality”
Level : +X skill power;
+Y armor
Star : +200 evasion for Ursula and allies on the start of combat for 8 sec.

  • +50% skill power
  • Now disk level also gives armor
  • Now star effect is giving evasion for Ursula and allies

Well, I tried to do Ursula more useful and to give her more synergies.

#5 Shank

Shank has great tank skills, but she has not good stats. So I think she needs a few stats’ and skills’ buffs.

                Shank

+70% max HP
+100% basic damage
+50% skill power

Final Lap
Passive: Shank negates up to 25% of damage from each attack against her and stores it.
Active: Shank summons her car and barrels through her enemies, dealing X damage plus all of the damage stored by her passive. This resets her damage storage.

*Now Shank negates 25% of taken damage instead number amount of this one.
*Now Shank stores all negated damage instead 50%.
*Removed cap of stored damage.

One time per wave when Shank drops to 75, 50 and 25% of her Max HP she grants her teammates X additional Skill Power for the rest of the wave and +70% attack speed for 10 sec.

*Now this skill also works at dropping to 25 and 75% of max HP.
*Now this skill also give attack speed boost.

Piston Slam
Shank rattles enemies with an elbow slam, causing them to take X damage instantly and X damage over 8 seconds. Shank also heals for 50% of the damage done by Piston Slam.

*Now this skill deal instant damage and damage over.
*Damage +300%

Road Warrior
Shank gains an extra X armor and Y max HP.
Shank has immune to move and attack speed slowdown.

*Now Shank also gets max HP with this skill.
*Now Shank has immune to move and attack speed slowdown.

Shifting Gears
“Final Lap” negates 35% more damage against Normal Damage attacks.
Shank and her allies take 60% less damage from Normal Crits and Supercrits.
+X damage from “Final lap”.
+Y max HP
+Z Armor

*Now second effect also works with Supercrits
*First additional stat boost is changed 'cause white skill was changed.

Elastigirl’s disk - “Lockdown”
Level : +X skill power for “Toughen Up”
Star : Shank keeps 30% of stored damage after using “Final Lap” (10% at first star, 5% per star).
+35% energy gain.

*Now level effect gives skill power for “Toughen Up”
*Now Shank keeps stored damage after using “Final Lap” with star effect.

Vanellope’s disk - “Get in gear”
Level : +X max HP; +Y Armor.
Star : Allies gain Armor equal to 40% of Shank’s Armor
Shank’s armor increases by 10% every 10 sec (2% per star).

*Now Shank’s armor increases every 10 sec with star effect.

I am a little confused on how her revised Green Skill works. Does it stack each time she uses it? And what happens if she heals? (Example: If she grants allies the bonus when she falls under 75% HP, then heals, then falls below 75% again, does she grant allies the bonus again or not?

Other than that, the refresh looks really good!

This is kinda a nerf/buff at the same. She will be guaranteed to take damage with each attack instead of having the possibility to resist the attack.

Then she’ll be broken…

But it always has…

I do agree, but I also kind of like this revision more than the original effect, only because now it is more consistent, and with how much burst damage is in today’s metagame, it may prove to be more of a buff overall (especially with how little damage her effect can currently store from each attack).

Well, with her current number of hegated damage she could only resist attack from enemy 20 lvl lower. So I think my point is optimal. She can’t take much harm from weaker or equal enemies thanks to her armor, and she can negate 25% damage from stronger enemies and then give it back with her white skill.

That can be changed through SP, though :eyes:
