Okay, Marvel Movie Rights Crash Course: It’s true that Disney owns Marvel and Marvel has full rights to Thor, Iron Man and every Avenger you’ve seen in the movies so far…with the exceptions being Hulk and Spider-Man. (This technically also applies to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, But with the deal with Fox, soon it won’t matter. Anyway, Sony still has rights to Venom, so, even if he wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb, Disney/Marvel would get their butts sued off.
