I unfortunately can’t remember which update this started after. I just know that it was late May or possibly early June. But since one of the recent updates, the blue brute with the cricket bat is so insanely OP in his ability to resist any damage and heal himself, that he is completely unbeatable. It’s mostly in the friend campaign that I’ve experienced it, but it’s also been in the regular campaigns. I’ve put teams with total power of over 100,000 against him and they lose only because of him and his insane abilities. I’m stuck on at least one friend campaign because a team that should be able to beat him is not able to. Even my weaker teams used to be able to beat him prior to the update that overpowered him so strong teams should be able to beat him.
Try focusing on heroes that deal fantastic damage because fantastic damage is the brute’s weakness

That mission had goofy/duke/piggy
None of them deal fantastic damage
Then figured out that you have to kick the brute with piggies white the exact moment duke falls of his motorcyle and hope he was facing the right direction
So some friendships have an interaction that is key to beating some stages
Stating what friendship disc you are aginst and what campain stage can be great information
In normal campaign use heros with fantastic damage in friend campaign some skills or sometimes even discs are needed
Historically P.B. have made mistakes on some friendship campaigns, including brutes that are undefeatable for lack of fantastic damage. As Big.K says Duke does fantastic damage with purple skill, of course you don’t get to activate purple skills so timing is everything. Another option might be to use Miss.P with Qh power as that adds fantastic damage to Hi Ya.
I’ve come across the same issue on some Friend Campaigns too where the only characters available to you can’t inflict any damage on him…

I started a forum thread about this a month ago and sent PB a message. You need miss piggie (I still don’t have her though). What bothers me though is I never had a problem with duke getting hung up on brutes on heists until a couple months.
He doesnt without the disc because enemies need to be on the same spot he falls to
