Hello, I have not posted here before but I am very active in game and on the subreddit so decided it’s time to voice my opinion here as well. I am level 100 in the #5 ranked guild on server 1 and have playing since June so I have been around for quite some time and feel I have the experience to speak on this.
Patch 1.7 is a complete joke. Perblue do you even read the forums for your own game. Not one person ever has ever complained about having too much gold or experience. They are literally the 2 biggest bottlenecks in the game (aside from stamina). This change is nothing more than a money hungry tactic to get people to buy more “1.25m gold for $4.99!” Deals. With the constant influx of characters, XP and gold are needed more than ever as well. I’m sure many people, like myself, have a number of unused characters because we simply don’t have the resources to put into them.
You have completely ignored the main complaint from the majority of your community that grinding for badges at O0 and above is ridiculous and takes multiple days worth of energy to get a single orange bad that provides lackluster stat boosts.
Perblue is perfectly aware this is an issue and they love that it’s an issue because it makes people more compelled to spend $5-$10 on badge buster deals they are constantly shoving down our throats.
This was not an update made for the players, it was made for the company. Maybe next update you will think about the players instead of just your wallets
