So, I’m getting a little concerned and curious. Is it just me, or have the contests that are started after the new prize wall start seem to conveniently mess up the players that go ahead and do levels, promotions, or other “specific” tasks related to the new character once they get the hero?
Cinderella was supposed to be originally be released at the same time as the new contest. Ironically, she got released early and then on the day she was ACTUALLY supposed to be released, there’s a contest…with a large point gain from doing something pertaining to just her. Is this going to start becoming a pattern for the game? It happened last month with Bellwether, and possibly Quasimodo but I may be completely wrong about that timing. It’s a bit of a killjoy when it’s a back to back occurrence especially since there is no retroactive counting if it’s hero specific. Unless, that’s something that can be considered, doing retroactive counting when it’s a hero specific task.
I get that the release wanted to be early due to preparation for holiday break for the group. However, it could also be seen as done intentionally to mess up players who don’t spend a lot of money and save resources in preparation and then jump the new character up once they “find” them. Like a punishment of sorts for being excited? I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking, will this be the new trend for prize wall and contest moving forward?
