I still think 90% of talents will be useless. And the stat boosts will be non-existent.

Why exactly are we keeping the 4 week cap raise schedule? At this point patch will get 3 days behind every franchise season and now gives trash boosts anyway.

Any chance the gives for F2P players will be reconsidered? Or the patch power needs? Since this way no one will be able to get a patch level 3 on the start of season 3 which gives Patch Essence T.2.
And as we know levels above 5 need that? @Loutre

Considering the inflation on stamina costs, I am not sure I want to see the game being alive in 2027…

Unless Yellow QoL magically makes the game more bearable for the future.

Studying Attacks
Basic Attacks from this Hero apply Study to enemies struck for 6 seconds (+1s per star)

Scaring Attacks
Basic Attacks from this Hero apply Scare to enemies struck for 6 seconds (+1s per star)

Study Debilitation
When this Hero applies Study to enemies, those enemies also have applied Pierce for 2 seconds. (+1s per star)

Scare Debilitation
When this Hero applies Scare to enemies, those enemies also have applied Shatter for 2 seconds. (+1s per star)

Cleanse Benevolence
Cleanses from this Hero additionally apply 1 Hardy Stacks. This can happen to each Hero once every 5 seconds. (+1 hardy stack per star)

Cleansing Buffs
Buffs and Heals from this Hero also Cleanse all debuffs. This can happen once every 10 seconds. (-1s shorter cooldown per star)

Purple Skill Debilitation
Enemies lose 6 Purple Skill levels for the first 15 seconds of each wave. (+6 levels per star)

Warm-Up Defensive
This Hero takes 16% less damage from all sources for the first 6 seconds of each wave. (+16% less damage per star)

Buff Security
This Hero and allies can’t have their Buffs removed or stolen for the first 2 seconds of each wave. (+1s per star)

Boomerang Attacks
Basic Attacks from this Hero bounce to one additional enemy, dealing to them 20% of the initial damage. (+20% per star)

Crimeful Attacks
Basic Attacks from this Hero steal up to 1 random Buffs from enemies they struck. This can happen once every 6 seconds. (+1 extra stolen buff per star)

For season 6, the trials will give more essence for tier 1 and 2?

Season 5 didn’t increase tier 1 gains and with how many heroes become patchable the drops aren’t enough. @Samm

I agree to disagree. Why would Tier 1 even increase?

I’d rather like Tier 3 introduced on Stage 10 and Tier 2 given in (Tier 1 amount / 2) amounts in all stages with Patch Essence.

At some point some people will have too much Tier 1 P.Essence

I think at this point, the difficulty on the patch trials is getting away from the majority of the population.

I dont know who thought it was a good idea to make the top tier maxxed level, maxxed badges, maxxed red skill, maxxed friendship, and maxxed patch power. It’s too much.

3* top tier fight is the only way to collect a good amount of essence each day. By good I mean enough to plug into heroes and slowly gain patch levels that don’t compare to what big money spenders can just purchase.

However for most of us, this isn’t immediately possible. You have specific heroes to choose from and you are only given a few days notice on which franchises will be included.

Toy story is a good example. We had the patch notes late last week with info on the new patch trials and hero refreshes. Many of us haven’t been keeping any of our Toy Story heroes maxxed out, let alone multiple that can stand up to the enemy team.

This puts the average player in a position where they have to decide if they want to invest resources in those heroes in an attempt to get patch essence. Resources that are also needed for our mainline heroes, and/or the prize wall hero.

Even dedicating resources to the features franchise daily may mean that it takes weeks to get to the point where the top level patch trials are beatable. Only for the patch season to end and the process to start all over.

So you have a cycle where players are leveling a few of these featured franchise heroes up to maybe y20 with as many skills and mods as they can spare, only for those heroes to be abandoned once 3* is achieved or the patch season ends. Because raising and keeping them to max may not be reasonable, or players may not even like using those heroes to begin with.

Meanwhile with all of the work put in, patch essence is still scarce! I think I do pretty well at keeping up with the trials, and I only have a few at patch level 10. Meanwhile enemies are sporting patch level 15 cross the board. About to be patch level 20!

Let’s also mention that in order to unlock the next patch level, you have to keep patching more and more heroes. We’re expected to have an army of R10 rank heroes to patch. Even getting a hero to R10 isn’t easy! As mentioned, resources are already scarce and being used elsewhere. Where are we to find enough to waste simply on heroes we’ll never use to get them patched.

What we would need is Monsters Inc., The Incredibles, Coco, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, for one patch season, and Turning Red, The Jungle Book, Onward, and Pirates of the Caribbean for another patch season.
