Kristoff & Sven and Elsa as her two friendships? Heroes can’t have two friendships from the same movie (some older heroes have two friendships from the same movie, but that’s because of the more limited selection back then).

only Olaf and Elsa have a friendship together… Kristoff has none (Shang, Kida), now Anna has none…
I am sure that Elsa will be featured in one of them, coincidentally likely Manticore´s

In an ideal world, no hero would have any friendships from their own franchise. Because that’s boring and strangles creativity.

Eh… I get your point, but tbh, I don’t mind it happening occasionally just to have some familiar pairings every now and again. Plus, them being in the City as opposed to the locations they came from opens up new opportunities/scenarios for these pairings.

Now the main characters of Frozen are in the game and each have their own role
Elsa: Damage
Anna: Control
Olaf: Tank
Kristoff and Sven: Support
Now we need to see some more characters from Frozen come like Lieutenant Mattias, characters from a Bugs life (since Flik is coming) like Atta and others from different franchises like Max from a Goofy movie/Goof Troop and Penny Forrester from Bolt

Then the other friendship should have been Rapunzel.
Rapunzel and Elsa, one non-franchise friendship, one franchise friendship.
Problem solved and entirely in-universe canon.
The entire point of Frozen was Anna’s friendship with Elsa, so I was hoping that would make it into the game to keep that storyline going.
I thought that it was great they emphasized sisters can also be friends by choice, because that doesn’t happen often in most fictions I have experienced.

not to mention that’s just too predictable. Kristoff is better as they are married and there wasn’t much of that in the movie.

Still betting on Elsa being present in one of the campaigns. Manticore, an adventurer, and Anna with Elsa seems very plausible.
This is just boring and doesn’t do a thing, so they chose The Manticore instead along with Kristoff.
He may be named Eugene, but it’s Flynn Rider.
Let’s not forget about Prince Hans, Daisy Duck, Bing Bong, and a couple more Alice of Wonderland characters. Plus, since we’ve got the emotions, Riley is a can’t
I don’t think most players understand DH’s “friendship.” Some of the time, it’ll have someone in that movie/show. The second friendship is usually random and the story connects them somehow.
Friendship in DH doesn’t always mean who they’ve connected to in the movies… and yes, there are better connections, but there are limits - too many friends, doesn’t relate to the disk’s skills, and not enough friends. So, don’t think of them as friends, but rather connections.

You could not have known Flik was coming so your first post is probably incorrect and should be amended.
I don’t think the friendships are truly random, a human has to decide, who will this character be friends with from outside their franchise?
And sometimes, they make an illogical decision that cannot be easily comprehended, when the obvious sensible choice/s was right there.
