Today, I received some upsetting news relating to my father. It’s overwhelming and I have mixed emotions about it. And I probably won’t be on very much for a little while, but I would like to stay around.
I know I don’t really say or do much here, but I don’t want to leave again. I really enjoy my time here and I admire everything that you guys do for the forums. Coming here makes my day, and I think I need that right now.

That is not what I am saying. We know he is not doing so well, but we should not assume what is happening to him and what Anna is dealing with.

What happened yesterday was that my father passed away. It was just too much, it still is. I just can’t believe it, it feels unreal. I’m worried about my family, I can’t imagine how they feel. I feel so conflicted because my relationship with my father was distant, I only really knew him via e-mail. And some of the things that he said and did really hurt me and my family, but I’m also really sad.
I like to think that things in the future will be better, but right now everything seems so uncertain.
