Can we please rework City Watch. The entire time I’ve played this game I’ve been able to complete it once. I’m currently level 78 and by the 3rd watch, these teams are 4 starred level 90… How is anyone supposed to beat that. Come on!
You need a decent team. I’ve heard other people say to work on other heroes in case your main team gets beaten, but I’ve never really had to with my team. What team are you currently using?
I actually have 3 teams all at 78. It’s not a matter of teams, it’s a matter of AI Overpower. No matter what team setup you have, if they are 4 to 6 started and 10 levels ahead, you aren’t beating them period
I’ve never had any trouble with City Watch, beating it is no problem for me. What heroes are on the 3 teams?
@SuperOX are you doing easy or hard mode on City Watch?
Easy mode should be, well, easy… Sulley, Zurg, Calhoun, Nick and Quorra can walk through that on Auto, 15 rounds in under 15 minutes…
Hard mode needs a bit more work, and some manually use of powers - but the same heroes with certain disks - Sulley with Woody’s for healing between rounds, Zurg with either (I use Rex’s for damage), Calhoun with Violet’s for shields, Nick with either (but possibly Judy’s for an extra frontline shield) and Quorra with Eve’s for her self-healing…
A shielded (or double shielded) Sulley who heals himself and his team every round is amazing in City Watch, Nicks Lemmings are a beast after a few rounds, Zurgs cannon just never stops, Quorra is Quorra, there’s a reason half the forum complain aboht her, and Calhoun’s shield can be very useful…
@SuperOX try getting as many of your strongest characters to full energy at the end of each wave. That way they will be useful should characters on you main team die. Soo you have your basic team of five, the city watch does start of weak so use those early areas to collect energy for those characters not currently on you main team. Keep Nick usi ng his white as much as possible till he has maxed out on total lemmings to be used. Sulley’s scare ability and Nicks white make an amazing combo to minus at least half the enemies health at upper lvls. If you the seconds set of five that you have besides your main team all have their white skills full at the start o f their first battle and if Nivk was used in your first team, you should be at at least the last lvl of area four before it becomes difficult.
There are some cases that even Normal Mode gets Heroes who are over-levelled.
Recommended Heroes:
- WALL-E
Our cute little compactor here is one of the best Control Heroes, mainly because of his Energy Boost at the start of Waves. If you are getting low on Energy at the end of the Waves, get WALL-E in your team. That’ll give you an edge in the City Watch, especially if you have Zurg and Nick there.
- Judy
While she’s a great support. She’s rather… fragile. I haven’t used her that much, but other players say she’s fragile. Her Starting Boosts and Energy upon KO is very helpful. Of course, she can be substituted by Woody w/ his Buzz Disc equipped.
- Zurg and Nick
They’re usually the ones being used for CW. Zurg with his Ion Blaster and Nick with his lemmings. Nick is more recommended than Zurg because of his Purple and his Stacking Lemmings.
They can be easily paired w/ WALL-E, Judy or Woody. All give an Energy Boost.
- Sulley w/ Woody’s Disc
This will be helpful, especially if your on Hard Mode. Whenever Boo laughs, Sulley heals for about 20k HP, assuming his Skills are at the 70, 70, 50, 30 marks. His Teammates get 20% at 1 star and heals for 4k.
- Calhoun w/ Violet’s Disc
She is a good Hero because of her Shielding and Purple Skill. Very helpful at the start and at the end, if she’s the only one left standing.
These are just suggestions. You could take it or leave it.
Do the math. IfnSulleys disk has one more star lvl (which isnt to hard to get thanks to the memory market) he heals his team twice as much as he did before.
which is more Than we can Ever say for Yax.
Each star heals 20% more. Which is a boost my team definitely needs. IMO, both Sulley’s Discs are very useful.
