I’m power crafting like crazy with my double badge drop bonus today and noticed my gold wad getting low. After 12 hours of upgrading badges I added the additional loot with what I started with and the game was shorting my gold! Not sure how long or what else was lost but damn, 12 hours of gold lost is huge! Anyone else have this happen. Submitted a ticket almost 12 hours ago and no response yet…
Did you take into account the gold used up to actually craft the badges? Some (most) recent badges are very expensive to craft, and raiding doesn’t cover the cost.
It’s there, my support ticket has been in for 24 hours but they say nothing is wrong! I don’t understand
The gold in the loot + the 80k stated there was the cost of the badge, around 500k. There’s no way an orange badge would only cost 80k gold to craft from scratch.
Hmm, it clearly states the 80,000 is the cost, not 500,000. It only does this for expensive badges. When I craft a cheap badge everything adds up correctly as stated
What @Rogue_Flower_IV stated is correct. The total cost of the badge is a little less than 500k gold, but by raiding you also get roughly 400k, so you basically spend those 400k earned from raiding, plus 83k that you already had. It works fine.
You can always check by looking at the same badge and its components, then add up individually what the costs of each component is to see for yourself. For an orange badge, usually there are many purple badges needed to craft it, so the expenses naturally add up.
Yep exactly that. If the gold gained in loot was enough to cover the cost, no gold cost would be shown and instead you’d receive the remainder back.
Because the cost to craft the badge is more than the gold loot gained, an additional 83k is required on top, and no gold is returned to your balance.
That makes sense. I guess I have never noticed until I started running low on gold. It was very deceiving lol
