Power Crafting and Raid Tickets

Hi there,
I am a first time poster that has a concern. It appears that when you use the power craft function, you dont get back any raid tickets, and unknowingly I have depleted my supply to nothing. I looked back and read the patch notes for the release of power crafting, and it doesn’t mention anywhere there that you forfeit raid tickets as a reward when using power crafting, only that it is a great way to save time and increase efficiency. I have honestly never paid notice of how many raid tickets I have, as I had never came near to running out previously. I am at the point where I have around 800 stamina packs, which I have purchased, and not enough hours in the day to spend them. It is literally taking me hours for what used to take seconds, and I feel like I cannot get ahead. I really want to know if the intention of power crafting was to award raid tickets, or if this is a bug. There are other members of my guild experiencing the same thing.

This report seems to come up quite a bit and I never understand it -

Power Crafting does return raid tickets!!

They don’t show as returned, because it simply consumes half as much as needed for the raids - raid ticket drop rate is 50%. Power Crafting during a double drop event consumes 0 tickets

I’m not sure why you’re running out of raid tickets :frowning:

We did not make any changes to the drop rates on raid tickets, and power crafting uses the same number of tickets and stamina as if you did the badge raiding manually.

I believe the issue is that some players have loads of extra stamina, and now that power crafting makes it easy to use, they’re spending much more stamina than they did previously. This is causing those players to eat through their stock of raid tickets, because it’s so easy to do.

I have passed this to the team, and they’re looking at the data to see what can be done to address this issue for some players. For now, you’ll see raid tickets appearing in events and even crates.

@Polaris I think it’s also bound to be in part due to the stamina cost reduction - if players are heavily raiding in chapters that have had their stamina cost halved (outside of a double drop event), they will be consuming twice as many raid tickets as they would have previously with the same amount of stamina.

That sounds very likely to be the reason, actually and one that I never thought of. Doesn’t change the fact that it is frustrating as anything, but it does make sense.

@Polaris will they be dropping in place of other drops or in addition?

If I may make a suggestion: I think adding raid tickets to the diamond crate upgrade path would be great way to introduce “free” raid tickets without adding them to buy-able diamond crates (of any flavour) at the cost of a drop. Also I’d love to see Disk Power and Mod Power upgrade paths from Diamond Crates.
