So, I sometimes get notifications that I have received a private message, but when I click on the named private chat, nothing is there. It’s a blank chat history. The only thing it says is “Clear private messages from other player”
I have like 10 private conversations and none of them work. And by the way, they NEVER have worked. I’ve been playing for months and it’s always looked like this.

That happens when someone invites you to a heist you don’t accept. When the heist ends, the message is no longer available but the notification still appears in your chat as an empty message.
Huh, well, good to know! They must have all come in when I wasn’t online. It would be nice if the system notified us of that though, or cleared them out once the heist was over. I’ve been basically ignoring them this whole time, but the mystery of it has been annoying me lately. Thanks for solving the case!
No problem! I know, it’s a little annoying to find so many empty messages every day.
Hopefully they’ll find a better way to organize these notifications soon
