Also, you can skip the stupid shuffle animation at the beginning of a new board. It’s not really anything that you can actually follow to guess the location, so it is kind of patronizing and a waste of time to have it there and have it be useless.

@Loutre Some thoughts now that I’m a few days into it.

  1. Wall Size: 6x6 is too big. I’m currently on Stage 13. I get 35 Lilo chips when I find the Grand Prize box. On the 6x6 square, I’ve burned 25 chips and still haven’t found it. That seems a bit much given the prizes we get awarded. Let’s call that #1. If 5x5 is argued to be too small, no one said this had to be a square. 6x5 would still be better and a happy medium. I think the yardstick should be this: In the worst case scenario, I should be able to go up one stage at a minimum each day. If I’m looking at 36 spots with only 30 picks and I don’t hit it at least 1 grand prize (and while I will continue to use ‘grand prize’ here as it is in the app, it’s not really a prize worth calling a ‘grand prize’ - but see 4c, below) that doesn’t make me as a player feel good about this new event.

  2. Token Daily Tasks and Allotment: There’s some room for improvement here. I like some of these tasks. Perhaps these 6 are there every day with a couple that are weekly (giving more tokens) and/or have the six tasks with a couple other daily tasks that are different each day. One thing that is done right is that none of these tasks are hero-dependent. Continue this… don’t make them hero dependent.

  3. Grand Prizes: This is where things start falling down. The amount of hero chips we get for the amount of tokens we’re going to burn is not enough. Once you get past the first couple of stages, the amount of chips you need to impact a new hero increases WAY faster than the wall does.

  4. Wall Prize Steps: 10 Stages per upgrade is too much; way too much. I’d say 3-5 stages between scaling up is more appropriate. Given that, I would like to see the awards also scale. I haven’t seen the number of stamina, crates, and gold get increased (I could be wrong about the gold, but it is pretty low to begin with).

4a. ALTERNATIVE: So an idea that would offset the 10-stage plateau (but NOT the scaling of the prizes) would be that when you get the Grand Prize, you not only get the hero chips, but you also get the remaining prizes as well. This makes the prizes you get prior to the grand prize inconsequential (because you get them all anyway) unless it’s the last stage you’re on… Maybe there’s a happy medium here. Either way, the prize accumulation is too low.

4b. Prize vs. Grand Prize: Perhaps there needs to be three kinds of wins instead of two. We win prizes (2 60-stamina, hero crates of various types, 1 Ultra XP drink (1, seriously?), or we win a ‘grand prize’ which promotes up to the next stage. What about a bigger prize that also promotes (or…not, maybe)…one in the range of a lot more chips/skill chips… or even a significant amount of diamonds (gasp! THAT would be a grand prize).

  1. Event vs. Daily This should definitely be a permanent thing. There does need to be a reset to it, perhaps every Sunday with the Trials, perhaps it goes longer (continuing to scale upward) and resets with the quests.

  2. Guild Perks: There are so many ways we can utilize guild perks for this. Two ideas off the cuff:
    Daily Wall Quests give more tokens, the higher the guild perk, the more tokens.
    and/or
    Additional prizes (maybe the game keeps track of all the stamina/crates, chips, and gold and at the end of the event (or if you go to daily as I suggested above, when it refreshes) you get a % more (based on the guild perk of whatever you found) a la Surge. The Daily Wall Quests giving more tokens could be done at refresh time and awarded for the next round.
    and/or
    Award tokens straight out with all the other stuff we get on Mondays.

  3. Invasion: Yes you read that right. Invasion. Add (NOT replace) tokens to the Invasion award tiers. It needs a bit more output, this is a novel way of doing that. Two birds, one stone.

I love the concept of this. I think it’s fun and adds a carnival-esque kind of quality to the game. It’s a great first step and with some tweaks we can improve it and use it to impact other areas of the game where we as players have been asking for more enhancement (guild perks and invasion) for quite some time now. This is SO much better than the wish crates, in fact:

  1. Hero Prize: I get introducing this with Lilo. How about letting us pick the hero we want for a particular round of the wall (not always dependent on it being a new hero)?

Great feature, I would like to see it with future heroes as well. Already got Lilo to 5 stars.

My team loves the new prize wall. Hope you keep it for future heroes.

Great way to get power ups, cosmetics, etc.
I’d like to see this continue with other new characters.

I like this feature–it’s both fun and agonizing at times but I kind like that vibe. Much much better than the wish crate. I just wish the gold and XP were increased to at least 500k and maybe 5 red XP? It would also be neat if mod and disk power was added as a potential reward.

I think the prize wall is cool. It’s free and a bonus way to earn a few more things daily. Would love if you guys kept it.

Maybe increase the value of items per wall. Or give more tokens a day.

The daily sign in is a pain. I forget to claim the prize and end up missing a few day. But I play daily. It should be automatic once you log in any day.

The wall is ok,more crates should be added instead of 1 of each, that is wayyyy to less.
I think it’s good for f2p, also for payer.
But like i said, the crates /gold / well everything need a boost, 1 is way to less!!

Besides that

The guild offers are really really really really ridiculous, its like the gold guild gift, waaayy to less, 2 for every guild mate, 10 for urself, that really bad

Very good and fun entertaining

I’m fine with in, honestly. The deals are dookie water, but it’s fairly simple and the rewards are pretty nice.
