Rajah Linking to Meg

@Polaris please could you explain how this works for me. Rajah linking to meg on auto is apparently intentional even though it only happens under strict conditions i.e. having mulan on the team. Ive been back and forth with support for a couple days just to get the same paragraph but reworded with the same meaning: its not a bug. If Rajah linking under these strict circumstances on auto is not a bug, how could I possibly be unable to link rajah off auto? The support team couldn’t help me with this and I didn’t want the same reworded paragraph so I will bump this each day until I can get some clarity on the case from you, it ruins some of my lines and has been bothering me for a while, trying support led to nowhere so I just want some clarity on the case. Sorry to be a bother

It should really be like that, rathwr than locking out some heroes from linking and causing bugs. Oh wait, not bugs

It’s not a bug. On auto, when Meg activates her skill, it links her to the ally who is standing at the front of the team. It doesn’t matter the order of the hero cards at the bottom, but their physical location at the time the skill activates. Rajah is an ally, so it’s possible for Meg to link with Rajah on auto. It’s not something you can choose, so there’s strategy in some game modes where you have to decide if you want Meg to link automatically, or if you want to choose a hero.

Thank for your time and answer

It would be nice if we can have a movement speed status visible when we click more status

so we can atleast try to figure out who will move to the front first and more

”same with attack speed”

Thank you vwry much for responding! But there is still one issue with this because…it is strictly not true.

Here is how Jasmine and Rajah interact without a hero in front as well as how they interact with a few other entry heroes. Please notice how in every single fight Rajah and Jasmine always start the fight the same distance away from eachother but only one hero in the game makes it so that Rajah is linked.
I realised it may have not been clear from the first video with Mulan because jasmine used her active quickly but I redid the fight where she hasnt used it

Still same distance from eachother, still Mulan is the only reason Rajah links as opposed to Jasmine. How can it be dependent on distance when only one hero in the game forces this interaction without any change to the distance between Rajah and Jasmine?

I agree with you, Biggreenboi.

I guess that the linking Meg and Rajah is caused by the algorithm of battle program (that is, Rajah is handled as almost one hero in the program except he endlessly revives during Jasmine exists on the screen.

So, just one question. If Jasmine is KOed, can Rajah linking Meg remain in the battle? Meg’s skill has any sense if Rajah disappears with Jasmine KOed ?

When Jasmine dies, Rajah dies, no invincibility from meg. Also, if you have meg, mulan and a backline like animal, meg will link to the backline over mulan. However if you literally just have Mulan Meg and Jasmine…tadaa! Now Mulan is linked to Meg! And in the same conversation with support I was told Mulan won’t link with Meg, funny that

Thank you for the reply. I confirmed too and agreed with you again. This phenomenon must be unintended even if the developer says it is working properly.

Mulan, Jasmine, and Megara

Mulan, Jasmine, Joy, and Megara

Its not so much about mulan linking thats just what devs told me is impossible as well, its just that with physical distance it should be either Always Jasmine or Always Rajah linking because they always stand the same distance from eachother. That isnstrictly not true but all I got was the same response that @Polaris gave me

@Polaris I sent you 5 videos showing how rajah is the exact same distance away from Jasmine and yet Rajah only links because mulan is on the team…so the distance argument is strictly no true. Could you explain how that isnt a bug please?

It’s just my guess but likely is that the order of Mulan and Rajah differs in depth.

2 screeshots in my last post show that Rajah is in front of Mulan when the team is composed of Mulan, Jasmine, and Megara. When Joy joins, positions are inverse. That is, whether Joy participates in the team or not, the order (position) of Mulan changes in depth at least.

So If the game searches for the target of Megara’s skill according to the order (position) of the team, who is linked to Megara must change even if Mulan and Rajah are at the same position in the horizontal direction because their positions differ in depth.

Did you consider on this, PerBlue?

On a full team Rajah and Jasmine always stand the same distance away thats what the videos were about. Somehow mulan pushes link from jasmine to rajah when the distance between the 2 is always the same

I’m not sure this help you, I checked what type of team compositions links Meg to Rajah. Then I confirmed 4 cases.

Powerline, Kristoff, HewyDewy&Lowie, and Launchpad induced Rajah-Megara link.

It’s strange that the team of Megara and Jasmine didn’t cause this linking.

It seems to be related to the new characters who appear in a delayed , slow style.

EDIT: Moreover the team shown below induces Megara-Rajah link too. The incident is not related to the number of characters in the team.

Mulan must be there to induce this incident. Without her Megara links to Jasmine.

Thank you now please tell that to the mods who either ghosted me or repeated the same washed up response on the topic every time :frowning:

I’ve gotten the reply from CS that tells us “Megara can link to Rajah and it’s not a bug”.

I wish a bit advance in this matter.
