Yep can’t deny that. I don’t like characters that work like this, never gonna use Cheshire or B&B indeed. But the skill itself is extremely powerful
Clones are pretty fragile and don’t have evasion.
Extra 3M damage from each explosion is useful, and more damage to blinded, well, scaling here isn’t amazing, but still.
Yes, the stat bonus is good. And if someone playing the game unlocks the skill for them, that’d be the wise thing to do. But on PB’s end, designing the skill, they did a pretty sloppy job. The clones are what make B&B unique, and give them their own niche for use with skills and disks that would otherwise be terribly useless (for example, Nick or Ursula (Ha)). The red skill minimalizes, if not outright removes, that niche in favor of bigger numbers.
It actually makes B&B better for Ursula. More explosions = more energy
Anyway, I see your point. Meh design. Kinda like Mulan’s red that gives her blind immunity even tho she has huge evasion
It also makes B&B better for Sadness, every explosion gives her 3 stacks of Sorrow = More Damage, Armor and Reality.
