Ugh this is so stupid… It’s the Winter update and the December update. Trick question.
According to the patch notes, it’s the 2.5 update.
PB doesn’t do exotic names like that.

Exactly. This is the exact thing. They never called it a winter update. They just did an update with snow in it 
so an option to turn that off would be great x

Sure, it would be cool to turn off snow. But what’s the point? Wait… Jimmy Neutron Brain Blast. What if you could swap seasons like Spring Summer Fall and Winter with a button tap in-game?
The point would be getting rid of the snow. On their side of the world, PB added it in the middle of the summer (more or less).

Well there is 2 points.
- Snow graphics might cause problems/lags on some devices, so removing it would remove that issue.
- It’s not winter in half the world, and the other half is not entirely covered in snow anyway.
Maybe a 8th of the planet has snow on it right now. Probably less than that

To be honest I am shocked that Disney has not created their own version of Time and then put their own Seasons into their worlds…
They could create some new seasons that happen on “Disney Time” that they can copyright, trademark and then market here in the real world.
They could have invented an entire Disney Calendar with their own version of time keeping based on Disney Time.
Then they could literally do whatever (whenever) they want within their worlds and we would all be much less likely to try connect to it with the timeframes/logic/flaws of our world here…
If they did that then it’s snowing in the World of Disney whenever they say it is 
hahaha
