But, Joy confirmed Bing Bong to be dead. So, either she missed him completely or Pooh and Eeyore (for whom friendship he was mentioned in) recently stepped into the darkness to hunt a ghost.

Simple: During that friendship campaign Bing Bong hadn’t landed in The City yet. Joy was pulled from after Bing Bong died. Bing Bong from before. Much like how the Parr family remembers the events of Incredibles 2 but Syndrome doesn’t.
If it’s as simple as you say it is, then how come Bing Bong hasn’t been playable yet?
And if that’s really the case, then this whole “breaking the timeline” argument has been straight up kookie-dooks.

You know how many characters have been mentioned to live in The City during Friendship campaigns and Friendship missions that aren’t playable. It’s a lot. I couldn’t begin to count. Grunkle Stan is a stand out. Zazu if I recall correctly? Swampy I think. Just tons of them. Yeah some of them get added eventually, like Russell or Quasimodo. But not all of them have.
Yes, I’ve been trying to explain that for quite literally years. It’s just that it was the easiest way to make this one person who used to spam about Kion stop talking and I didn’t want to disrupt the peace.

I would love some cats characters to be finally released after 5 years… but where it was said?
All it was said PB tried to get Aristocats, but Disney did not gave them greenlight.

They never said they are unlikely to come.
High School Musical and Cars are labeled like that. Unlikely.
There are also brands of cars… which can be copyrighted. Cars are rarely seen in disney games, coincidence?

This is very true. However, Lightning is not a brand of car. They made up his type of Car so that they could use him freely. That’s why he’s in Disney Emoji Blitz, Disney Tsum Tsum, Disney Infinty and Disney Wonderful Worlds. Mater is generally with him. Perblue was aable to secure the rights to Slinky so 1 or 2 car types is not completely impossible.
I’m also taking into account Disney wanting the Devs to add them. Cars is the 6th highest grossing franchise Disney owns and the #1 highest grossing Pixar franchise. Disney wants them in these games because they want more money.
So, for some reason I can’t qoute it but:
At the end of this post it is implied that we might be getting a Cat character before the end of the year.
