My Russel level is 30. I will upgrade Russel for red invasion.
Should I upgrade Russel’s disk star or disk level? or Should I make Russel Yellow rank?

The most important to upgrade is his blue skill level for the shatter.
Disk stars on the HDL disk can help, but it is sufficient to have it equiped to have the fantastic damage to activate shatter!

I have him at Orange, no disc and it works fine for me. You just need him at high lv (max, if possible). Pair him with Jack Skellington and you will have an amazing team

I personally prefer Sally because of permanent fantastic damage with tia disk on bot.
