RyanHYK's Hero Concept Page

I thought I’d make a page of my own to share my concepts. I’ll add and update as they come to me.

Winifred Sanderson, a mid control character who uses her wicked magic to drain her opponent’s strength and paralyze them with lightning.

“Hello, Salem! My name’s Winifred! What’s yours?!”

BASIC ATTACK: Ranged, fires out a ball of lightning from her fingers.

  • WHITE: “Life Drain”, Winifred sucks the life from the closest enemy for X damage, healing herself for the same amount in the process. Drained enemies become exhausted, reducing their attack damage and attack speed by 25% for 6 seconds. Enemies above level Y have a chance to shake this effect off sooner (thinking 1.5 seconds?). Deals fantastic damage.

  • GREEN: “Come to Mommy”, Winifred calls for her spellbook, which comes from behind the enemy team, damaging the furthest enemy for X damage and knocking them forward. Deals normal damage.

  • BLUE: “Lighting Crash”, Winifred surrounds the closest enemy with lightning and pushes them to the back, dealing X damage and stunning them for 3 seconds. The stun has a chance to fail at enemies above level Y. Deals fantastic damage.

  • PURPLE: “Chain Lightning”, Winifred’s basic attacks will also connect to the two enemies closest to the primary target for X damage and inflict them with Static. Enemies with Static will cling to the victim of Lightning Crash, being flung back and stunned with them. Only two enemies can be affected by Static at a time.

APPEARANCE: Based on how she appears in the movie (post-Emily drain, if we’re getting specific). She would also be flying on a broomstick.

ENTRANCE: Descends from the top of the screen, cackling maniacally.

VICTORY: Cackles as lightning sparks from her fingers.

DEFEAT: Panics as beams of light burst from her body, before exploding into dust.

Changelog
V2: I had originally given her an ability called “Never Enough” and removed it in favor of “Come to Mommy”.
V3: Increased the stun from “Crash Lightning” from 2 to 3 seconds. Changed “Chain Lightning” so it has damage value for leveling and occurs every attack, not just every three. In my head, it won’t do too much damage compared to her basic attack. The whole point is just to apply static.

com-3939%20(1)

Elsa, a backline damage character, the queen of Arendelle’s chilling magic becomes more dangerous the closer she is to defeat.

“The cold never bothered me anyway.”

BASIC ATTACK: Ranged, launches a snowball from her hands. This becomes an icicle once “Cornered Queen” is active.

  • WHITE: “Harsh Winter", Elsa summons a fierce snow storm that deals X damage over six seconds. The snow’s numbing cold reduces enemy attack power by 25%. Enemies above level Y have a chance to resist the reduction. Deals fantastic damage.

  • GREEN: “Cold Feet", Elsa summons an area of icy spikes under her closest enemy’s feet, dealing X damage and reducing their reality for as long as they remain in the spikes. Enemies also take Y damage as they move through the spikes. The spikes persist until Elsa summons another area of spikes or she is defeated. Deals fantastic damage.

  • BLUE: “Cornered Queen", When Elsa is at 50% health, she gains X skill power and Y basic attack power. These bonuses increase by 1% for every 0.5% health missing after that.

  • PURPLE: “Conceal, Don’t Feel", Once per battle, when Elsa takes damage that would normally defeat her, she encases herself in an ice barrier that shields her for X damage with 1 health remaining. This shield lasts for 10 seconds.

FRIENDSHIP WITH: Frozone

  • Elsa and Frozone bond over being shunned over their snow and ice based abilities. A humorous sequence could occur late in their campaign where Frozone learns she’s a queen. This bond gives Elsa the Disk Frozen Fractals, which increases he skill power by X and causes the shield the gains through “Conceal, Don’t Feel” to explode upon expiration, dealing Y damage and freezing enemies for 3 seconds.

APPEARANCE: That shimmering blue ice dress post-“Let It Go”. Basically, see above.

ENTRANCE: Enters from the screen’s edge in her coronation dress, then with a wave of her hands, transforms into her snow queen attire.

VICTORY: Throws her hands up to form her own personal flurry.

DEFEAT: Tries to conjure one last spell, which results in a large icicle popping up in front of her. This startles her and causes her to fall on her backside.

Changelog
V2: Gave a bonus to Elsa’s basic attack for “Cornered Queen” for leveling the skill to affect instead of boosting instead of boosting her basic attack in general. Also changed the scaling from 2% for each 1% to 1% for each 0.5%.
V3: Changed Cold Feet so it reduces reality instead of armor.

Marshmallow_transparent

Marshmallow, a frontline tank character, uses his massive strength and body to protect his allies, harm his foes, and preoccupy the enemy team.

“Go away.”

BASIC ATTACK: Melee, a large swipe.

  • WHITE: “Snowfall", Marshmallow stomps the ground, causing a wall of snow to drop between the front and midline (or mid and backline if the frontine has been defeated). The wall has X HP and enemies behind the wall must target it in order to break it down. The wall lasts for 5 seconds until it melts. Marshmallow cannot summon another wall while one is in place or while only backline enemies remain.

  • GREEN: “Chilling Roar", Marshmallow roars, dealing X damage to nearby enemies. His ice cold breath will also freeze his closest enemy for 4 seconds. The freeze has a chance to fail against enemies above level Y.

  • BLUE: “Shattering Burst", The icicles on Marshmallow’s body erupt from him, damaging all enemies for X damage. Always deals critical damage to frozen enemies. Deals normal damage.

  • PURPLE: “Compact Body", Melee attacks against Marshmallow deal X damage back at the attacker.

APPEARANCE: As he appears in the film in “attack mode” with icicles poking out of his body.

ENTRANCE: A pile of snow magically forms into Marshmallow. He roars as icicles erupt from his body, then enters a battle stance.

VICTORY: Icicles recede into his body as he puts on Elsa’s discarded tiara, smiling and looking delighted with himself.

DEFEAT: Falls on his back and breaks apart on impact.

I’m going to safely assume that you got the format on Epic Mickey’s post, right?

@RyanHYK when i read you elsa idea before in How do you envision your next hero, I thought of something later on…What if elsa 's purple were something a little more special! This would be my version of her purple!

Purple skill:This swirling storm inside.
At the beginning of each wave, elsa summons a cloud that rains snow on one enemy (like she did for Olaf in the end of Frozen) the cloud remains there until either that enemy is defeated or elsa is defeated. All Ice attacks do an additional 10% damage if they hit an enemy with this ice cloud.

Again you idea is good just a thought to make it better  especially when you think of her, frozone, and marshmellow fighting together!

Well, it’s not a bad template.

Stop the presses, here comes Jack Kelly! It was a bit tricky for me to balance this one, since I had thought fairly late to put PvP into account.

Jack_Kelly%20(1)

Jack Kelly, a backline support whose leadership and rebelious spirit strengthen his allies’ odds to turn their enemies into yesterday’s news.

“All across this city there are boys and girls who ought to be out playin’ or going to school. Instead they’re slavin’ to support themselves and their folks. Ain’t no crime to bein’ poor, and not a one of us complains if the work we do is hard. All we ask is a square deal.”

BASIC ATTACK: Ranged, throws a newspaper from his sack.

  • WHITE: “Rally Cry", Jack inspires his teammates to fight on, giving them 40% attack and movement speed for 6 seconds. Additionally, allies heal for X health when they damage an enemy.

  • GREEN: “Rotten Fruit, Perfect Aim", Jack throws a piece of rotten fruit at his closest enemy, dealing X damage. The noxious food will make the enemy sick, reducing their healing recieved by 50% for 6 seconds. Enemies above level Y have a chance to resist being sick. Deals normal damage.

  • BLUE: “Rebel Rouser", Jack’s “Rally Cry” gains an extra 10% attack and movement speed bonus and X healing whenever an allied hero is defeated.

  • PURPLE: “Seize the Day", Jack and his allies gain a 5% attack and movement speed boost whenever an enemy is defeated. This boost is lost if Jack is defeated in battle and lasts until the end of the current wave. This has a reduced effect on allies above level X.

APPEARANCE: I imagine him being based more off of Jeremy Jordan (from the musical) than Christian Bale (from the film).

ENTRANCE: Walks in putting his newsie hat on and enters a battle stance.

VICTORY: Cheers as he holds up Crutchie’s “STRIKE!” banner.

DEFEAT: As he falls back, his newspaper sack takes to the air and lands on his head, burying him in papers.

Um so i never heard of this person XD but i noticed that you seem to enjoy giving thwm to passive skills (blue and purple) i guess thatbdoesnt matter but try to limit how much you do this if you can!

He’s the lead character from the musical Newsies, based on a 1992 musical film of the same name produced by Disney, itself based the news boys strike of 1899. It’s the show that got Alan Menken his Tony. You can find a recording of the show on Netflix, or the occasional regional production on YouTube. Just be prepared to have “King of New York” trapped in your head forever.

Wow, this forums have a lot of Jacks

Liquidator%20(1)

The Liquidator, a frontline tank. Formerly bottled water mogul Bud Flud, this villian uses his watery body to dampen his enemies and refresh his allies, or your gold back!

“Are you dry? Parched? Craving something wet and wild?”

BASIC ATTACK: Melee, morphs hand into a mallet and smashes enemy.

  • WHITE: “Flash Flud", Liquidator creates a large wave that crashes onto all enemies dealing X damage. Enemies become soaking wet, lowering their attack and movement speed by 40% for 4 seconds. Deals fantastic damage.

  • GREEN: “Hard Water", Creates a block of hard water above his closest enemy and drops it on their head, dealing X damage and stunning them for 4 seconds. The stun has a chance to fail against enemies above level Y. Deals normal damage.

  • BLUE: “It’s Refreshing!", Attacks against Liquidator splashes refreshing water against his teammates, healing them for X health.

  • PURPLE: “Malleable Menace", Liquidator’s liquid body is difficult to make a strong enough dent in, taking 90% less damage from critical hits. This effect is greatly reduced against attacks from enemies above level X.

APPEARANCE: As he appears in Darkwing Duck, though I’m kinda tempted by his bulkier Ducktales 2017 cameo.

ENTRANCE: Pours in from the top of the screen and reforms on the ground.

VICTORY: Holds out a bottle of Sparkling Crystal Pure Flud Water in a bout of shameless advertisement.

DEFEAT: Falls face first and splats into a puddle.

Never heard of him but ok!

What movie is liquidator from? RyanHYK

Not from a movie. He’s a villain from the TV series Darkwing Duck. Fun fact: while a fairly popular villain in the series, Liquidator’s origin story was his only solo outing against Darkwing. Every other episode he showed up in had him allying with the Fearsome Five, a group I kinda wanna get the rest of in. Of the five, Liquidator seemed like the most logical choice to tank.

Oh

Twenty characters

Negaduck

Negaduck, a frontline damage. Darkwing Duck’s archnemesis, Negaduck uses his vast array of weapons to punish his foes and fuel his sadistic tendencies.

“Today, Saint Canard - tomorrow, the world! I always wanted to say that.”

BASIC ATTACK: Melee, an overhead arcing swipe with his chainsaw.

  • WHITE: “Big Red Button", Negaduck pulls out a remote and pushes its big red button, dropping a bomb that deals X damage to all enemies. Deals normal damage.

  • GREEN: “Light 'em Up", Negaduck uses a blowtorch to ignite his closest enemy, dealing X damage over three seconds. Enemies burned by Negaduck have their armor reduced while burning. Deals normal damage.

  • BLUE: “Revved Up", Negaduck jams his chainsaw into his closest enemy (or some G-rated equivilant), dealing X damage 10 times over one second to his closest enemy. Deals normal damage.

  • PURPLE: “Sadistic Tendencies", Negaduck’s attack speed increases by 2% whenever he damages an enemy, up to 200%. This effect is reduced if he damages an enemy above level X.

APPEARANCE: As he appears in Darkwing Duck. He will also be wielding a chainsaw.

ENTRANCE: Walks in, pulls out his chainsaw, and yanks it’s cord to get it running.

VICTORY: Triumphantly holds his chainsaw over his head and laughs.

DEFEAT: Throws his chainsaw to the ground and jumps up and down, throwing a tantrum.

Constance%20the%20Bride%20(1)

Constance Hatchaway, a frontline damage. The Black Widow Bride of the Haunted Mansion, Constance’s lust for wealth and power is never sated. She focuses a target and will even convince her next target to assist her in defeating them.

“Here comes the bride…”

BASIC ATTACK: Melee, strikes by bringing down her hatchet.

  • WHITE: “Dematerialize”, Constance assumes a ghostly form, evading all damage for 5 seconds. Enemies above level X have a chance to damage Constance while she is dematerialized.

  • GREEN: “Black Widow’s Bite”, Constance tosses her hatchet at the enemy with the highest power, dealing X damage. This damage increases by 5% per enemy defeated. Deals normal damage.

  • BLUE: “Accomplice”, Constance uses her wily ways to convince the enemy with the second highest power to assist her, Charming them into focusing their attacks on the enemy with the highest power for 7 seconds. While Charmed, the target’s basic attacks do X bonus damage. This bonus increases by 10% per enemy defeated.

  • PURPLE: “Til Death Do Us Part”, When Constance’s health reaches 0, she is not truly defeated. She instead assumes a ghostly form and continues attacking the enemy team until the end of the wave or her allies are defeated. The enemy team will not target Constance and she cannot use any of her abilities. Her attacks do less damage to enemies above level X.

APPEARANCE: Her current incarnation in the Haunted Mansion.

ENTRANCE: Materializes holding a bouquette, which she tosses to reveal her hatchet.

VICTORY: Chuckles as she runs her fingers across the blade of her hatchet.

DEFEAT: Shrieks as she dematerializes.

Yesss_hearts

Yesss, a mid-lane support. BuzzzTube’s head algorithm assists her allies by awarding them hearts and making them viral stars.

“When you break the internet, you don’t literally have to BREAK THE INTERNET!"”

BASIC ATTACK: Ranged, throws a heart frisbee style.

  • WHITE: “Feel the Love”, Passively, Yesss and her allies gain hearts whenever they damage an enemy. They can store up to 15 hearts. When activated, Yesss’s hearts are all consumed and heal X health for each heart. Hearts disappear if Yesss is defeated.

  • GREEN: “Ban Hammer”, Yesss targets the enemy with the highest skill power and tosses a “thumbs down” icon, dealing X damage and silencing them for 4 seconds. Deals fantastic damage.

  • BLUE: “Go Viral”, Yesss targets her ally with the most hearts and increases their basic and skill power by 50% for 8 seconds. This has a reduced effect on allies above level X. Yesss herself cannot go viral. In the event of a tie, Yesss will target the ally who hit the highest number of hearts most recently (because the internet loves new things!).

  • PURPLE: “Spam Blocker”, Yesss and her allies gain X armor for each heart stored.

FRIENDSHIP WITH: Mike Wazowski

  • Mike comes up with a new routine, and turns to Yesss to help him go viral. Completing the campaign gives Yesss the Disk Buzzzworthy, which increases her skill power by X and gives her allies a 10% to gain an extra heart from attacks.

APPEARANCE: Yesss has a lot of outfits, but the fibor optic coat in the screenshot above seems to be her signature look, so that’ll do.

ENTRANCE: Walks into places and tosses hearts into the air before assuming her battle pose.

VICTORY: “Makes it rain” hearts.

DEFEAT: Yesss stumbles back and falls on her backside, dropping hearts as well.
