Season 14 Patch/Refresh decisions

For whatever reason, you weren’t properly able to give anyone a proper refresh at this time. However, you seem to insist on having everything else continue on as normal as if you actually had done something with them, like with the Trials and contest point scoring conditions. As it stands, despite your actually dismal stat increases, most of the heroes that weren’t already newer heroes aren’t worth investing in. So can you please not carry on as if you did actually make an attempt to make these new patch season heroes able to compete with heroes that you’ve decided to give stats and Skill numbers in the trillions+?

There is zero reason to try raising heroes in these specific franchises now because we have no idea which ones you are choosing and we could waste resources on someone that isn’t even getting a change once you are able to get around to it. If you are only going to halfway do it, then maybe hold off on any sort of “full rollout” until you can? It’s not even as if everyone is truly being run through actual balancing stress tests prior to launching anyway. It’s mostly been "Should they be insanely strong or just absolutely broken? Answer: yes. end of meeting.

Along with this, once every hero has been refreshed to the point where no one is useless, can y’all reduce every number by like 90%. It would change absolutely nothing balance-wise, but be easier to read. A hero doing 1,000,000,000,000 damage to a hero with 2,000,000,000,000 health will be the same percentage as a hero doing 10,000 damage to one with 20,000 health. The numbers are so large they’re barely comprehensible.

Refreshes are welcome. I love the new breath of life in the older heroes, but just adding 0s is lazy and has gotten out of hand.

I mean…
you could as well have hero dealing 10 damage to a hero with 12 HP :man_shrugging:
All the ranks did is just bloat numbers, the real battle at a same rank still plays out the same - be it R3, Y3 or E3.

And 10/12 hp is still easier to read than a number with 11 0s. Bloating numbers is exactly what I’m talking about.

I mean, the formulas could go up by like 1% per rank instead of uhm… 20%?

13 ranks = 10x stats

I think we’re in agreement. I’m just asking for a stat squash. Keep the ratio the same across the board, just smaller numbers.
