While we’re looking at level scaling stats and mods at Emerald Rank, can the team take a look at how they are implementing refreshes and the side effect on Skill Mod Upgrades?
Boosting hero’s Skill Power and Basic Damage has thrown the calculation for skill values all out of whack, instead of being nicely balanced between Skill Level and Skill Power/BD, now it’s 99.9% the latter and the Skill Level barely matters (a few specific skills aside).
This has totally devalued Skill Mod Upgrades on these refreshed heroes on any skill that relies on those stats. Previously adding (eg.) a bunch of Blue Skill upgrades to Bagheera drastically increased the power of this skill, and it was a worthwhile investment. Now because his Skill Power is astronomically large, even 200 bonus levels from mods is like adding 1 extra Skittle to an entire jumbo packet, for the price of a Skittle Warehouse.
Would be nice if the team can either figure a more balanced way to handle these refreshes by also buffing skill level scaling, or alter how Skill Mod Upgrades work (use a percentage instead of flat increase?)
