Firstly, I understand that the sparring system is in place to promote guilds working together to find solutions to lines and coming up with ideas. I don’t want to change that.
I just think that the current system is time consuming to send spars, and it relies heavily on people being online 24 hours a day - which isn’t fair to the strongest players in the guild.
So what I am suggesting is a small change, quite similar to my suggestion on the training room (Idea for a training platform and combine cosmetic availability) but not giving free reigns on building your spars.
Give us the option to send spars to ourselves, using all available heroes from the guild at the time (with the exception of memory disks that you can choose which one you want from that person’s disk availability).
It will look similar to the merc screen and the new mission screen to chose heroes, but more filters for the person and the power.
Person A can then choose from (example) 49 Mulans in the guild, and determine a the power range they want to search in and build on that. They can choose each character from a different guild member if they choose, or the same guild member. Example:
- Mulan from person B
- Barbossa from person B
- Pleakley from person C
- Dash from person D
- Maximus from person D
This gives lower level players the option to spar against other lower level players, without taking time from those players to send spars etc.
The only downside to this will be that you cannot post your spar results to be seen / viewed by anyone in the guild. Therefor it will not take away the collaboration portion of the guild spars as it will still require someone else sending spars if they want to see the outcome against their specific line.
Any thoughts welcome!
