Since Christmas is coming up, I decided to make a character concept for a (non-Disney) Christmas-related character. I decided to go with Frosty the Snowman since I recently rewatched the special and think he could make a fun addition to the game (obviously, he’s never getting in since he isn’t owned by Disney, but it’s still fun as a theoretical idea). Frosty here is based off his original appearance in the 1969 animated special.
“I’ll be back on Christmas Day!”
Frosty the Snowman uses his snowy body and help from his friends to hold his own in battle and bring down foes who underestimate this jolly, happy soul.
Stars: 1
Role: Tank
Position: Frontline
Trial Team: Blue
Entrance: Frosty stands as an inanimate snowman until Hocus Pocus hops on by with the hat and flings it onto Frosty’s head, hopping off as Frosty comes to life
Basic Attack: Frosty swings his broomstick, dealing X amount of fantastic damage
Victory: Frosty joyfully laughs
Defeat: Wind blows Frosty’s hat off, turning him back into an inanimate snowman
White Skill: Belly Whopper
Frosty gets onto his belly and slides forward, plowing through the enemy team for X amount of fantastic damage and freezing opponents hit for 10 seconds. Frosty also steals 5% of each damaged enemy’s armor and reality and gives it to himself for the remainder of the wave.
Green Skill: Juggling Snowballs
Frosty juggles five snowballs and throws them at the enemies, dealing X amount of fantastic damage and freezing opponents hit by them for 5 seconds. Frosty heals 10% of his HP if he hits an already frozen enemy with a snowball.
Healing from hitting a frozen enemy has a chance to fail on enemies above Y level.
Blue Skill: Follow the Leader
Frosty gets on his hands and knees as Karen and her friends fling themselves off of Frosty’s back and hit the enemies. Only one kid appears each time this move is activated and each kid deals X amount of fantastic damage to the enemies. If an enemy is hit by a kid while frozen, they will take an additional Z amount of fantastic damage.
The extra damage to enemies while frozen has a chance to fail on enemies above Y level.
Purple Skill: Christmas Wind
When Frosty would normally be defeated, a Christmas wind blows on him to revive him back to his max HP. After this happens, Frosty gains X armor and Y reality for the remainder of the wave. This skill can only activate once per wave.
Red Skill: Happy Birthday!
Frosty and his allies are immune to freezes. All of Frosty’s attacks also do 100% more damage to each opponent he hits that is frozen.
Allies having freeze immunity has a chance to fail on allies below Y level.
+X Skill Power
+X Basic Damage
+X Reality
Friendships:
Frosty and Olaf:
Adapting to the City: Frosty finds it impressive that a fellow snowman in Olaf is able to withstand the warmer parts of the city without threat of melting due to his magic snow cloud. Wanting to help Frosty, Olaf sets off with him to find ways for Frosty to be able to withstand the warmer temperatures present in the city.
Allies: Fred, Mushu, Sheriff of Nottingham
Sliding Snowman - “Belly Whopper” does 100% more damage and heals Frosty for 10% (goes up by 10 for each star added) of his max HP each time this skill is used.
Extra Bonuses: +Y Armor, +Y Reality, +Y Skill Power to Tank-role allies
Frosty and Lock, Shock, and Barrel:
Poor Judge of Character: Being new to the city, Frosty tries to find some new kids to befriend. The first group of children he runs into are Lock, Shock, and Barrel, who take advantage of the snowman’s gullible nature to play pranks on him. All the while, Frosty is too naive to realize these kids aren’t actually friends until things are about to get dangerous for him.
Allies: Dash, Alice, Miguel
Friend to All Children - “Follow the Leader” now has three kids appear each time this skill is used. Each kid’s damage is increased by 20% (goes up by 15 for each star added).
Extra Bonuses: +Y Skill Power, +Y Max HP, +Y Max HP to Blue Team allies
Hopefully this turned out good and I’d love to hear what people thought of this concept. Thanks for reading!
