I’ve been keeping an eye on a few things over my course through the game, and thought it’d be best to share what I’ve noticed here, just so it’s out there and people can work to fix them. Nothing game breaking, but a lot of just basic spelling and grammar stuff.
- Russel (from Up) is misspelled as “Russelll”. This is anytime he is mentioned, with an example being from the “Future Heroes” Mission with Judy and Bogo.
During the first day of training, Russelll keeps asking about badges and Dug just asks if he’s being a good dog.
- Stitch’s quote has no parentheses around it.
No one gets left behind.
-
Aladdin’s animation of him riding Carpet is credited as “One Jump Ahead” instead of “Magic Carpet Ride” like the skill explains.
-
During Jack and Nick’s Friend Campaign (Episode 4-4 “The Silver Button”) says the two are making their way towards “Ralph stump” instead of “Ralph’s stump”.
Nick is injured in battle. Jack loans him a healing draught, and the two continue towards Ralph stump.
- During Zurg and Rex’s Friend Campaign (Episode 7-3 “Commander Rex”) says that “creeps jump out” at them instead of “Creeps jump out”, since it’s the beginning of a sentence.
Zurg begins to monologue about his plans to conquer the City. creeps jump out from behind a stall!
- During Judy and Bogo’s Friend Campaign (Episode 7-3 “Produce Pilfering Pirates”) mentions that creatures in the Port are “creepy-fied” instead of “creepified” or even “Creepified”.
Bogo doesn’t know what to do. The only other creatures in the Port are creepy-fied.
- And perhaps my biggest issue, is the usage of the term “Creeps” in the context of the game. I can’t tell if they refer to the enemies as their own species of enemy or just the actual definition of detestable people.
The plan works too well. creeps come at them from all sides. Sulley and Ralph decide a tactical retreat is in order.
Buzz zaps creeps with his laser, which has worked like a real laser since he arrived in the City.
On the way to the precinct, Bogo sees a creep trying to delete a young woman on the street.
There can only be one possible culprit. creeps!
For example, in Kingdom Hearts the enemies are the “Heartless”. It’s used as a proper name for the group, comprised of other individual enemies like Shadows, Soldiers, and Large Bodies. In Disney Heroes (from what I understand just from playing the game), the enemy group are collectively known as “Creeps” with individual enemies like Brutes, Mages, and Skeletons.
There are numerous instances of “creep” or “creeps” not being capitalized when they should have been, either from the beginning of the sentence or just their identification as a proper term. Creeps can be a detestable force in the terms of the game world, but still need to be classified as a group of enemies.
It’s the same reason why “the City” is always capitalized and not referred to as “the city”. I truly enjoy this game but it can be hard when so many little things jump out at you and bug you as a result.
I hope this helps address the issues for a later update!
