Stage 11 Nightmare Trials unbeatable

And about 75% of that feedback was from Musketeer himself.

I’m not disputing that that’s the intention, but with the way the trials are limited to a very small pool of heroes from a handful of franchises, to a lot of players it feels like a way to reward whales for spending the money to get everyone leveled up.

Within the game there’s lots of ways to counter invisibility, stuns, Chip & Dale, or nearly any other buff, debuff, or OP hero. When we’re forced to pick heroes from just four or five franchises, though, there may be only one counter available for certain problems in the trial; if someone doesn’t have that specific hero leveled up, then they’re denied the chance of beating a trial’s highest levels not because they aren’t good at the game, but because they haven’t spent enough money on it. That’s, well, kind of frustrating.

I realize how unlikely this is to happen, but I really wish we could have a broader pool of heroes to choose from, with the challenge coming from some other obstacle or ward to overcome.

That was before new talents, and earlier all trial events allowed all heroes, excluding that one Frozen trial.
Weekend trials are new too, since a few months only.

GrillFather, just one thing… could the trial stages be like this?

Stage 1-3: unrefreshed enemies, no disks, no red skills, no patches
Stage 4-6: same, but with one refreshed enemy per line
Stage 7: same as before, heroes have patch level 5
Stage 8: two refreshed enemies in one line, heroes have patch level 10
Stage 9: two refreshed enemies in two of the three lines, heroes have patch level 15
Stage 10: all lines have two refreshed enemies, heroes have patch level 20 (excludes heroes with Fruitful Revenge patch)

Disk and Red Skills would be fine, but as I said somewhere… it isn´t very fun when the stats from those are 1000x base stats or more.

Hello, thank you kindly for this feedback. I understand how this can be frustrating! With Franchise trials as well as these Challenge trials, we wanted to make sure that no hero is forgotten and have a reason to be invested in and engaged with. I understand that the lack of resources can be the blocker to participating in these limited time events, and we’re working on some economic changes in the near future to make participation more realistic game-wide.

This also has one consequence for Emerald Subclasses - the most worthy one is Negation (depending on the damage dealt - if any), then Evasion…

Because if one hero faces a enemy with hundreds of millions to billions of Armor/Reality, they won´t even tickle the enemy with Normal/Fant.Crit subclasses, so they will be mostly unused… at least by skilled players.

:eyes: Looking forward to this, seems interesting.

Hopefully near future means within a couple of months and not like guild perks that took like a three year hiatus.

Too much grinding for badges as a ftp right now it’s hard to be playing catch-up on toons need for weekend trials/patch toons neglected bc of the lack of resources for ftp for so long.
