I play another game similar and I wanted to submit what I’ve saw has an suggestion for a further update.
It is call the awakening power… The player awake is hero by changing his stars color to pink. It could be done 6 times per hero (6 stars)
A fully awaken hero have double boosted stats or any upgrade you want…
Levels, ranks, stars, regular skills, Red skills, disks, mods, collections…Do we need one more way to upgrade our heroes?

Another revenue stream is needed?
Well for those hardcore players that have almost finish everything it could be fun… Otherwise for average players I agreed with you… 
There are a lot of hero collectors that have the Awakening Stars but usually they are blue or purple not Pink
