That One Costume Designer

My sources of Edna’s skills aren’t random, I assure you.

Most of the concept is inspired from Elastigirl’s visit with Edna. Especially from this scene

The main part of the scene I used was of Edna showing Elastigirl of Jack-Jack’s costume.

Anyways, read on!

Edna Mode

“I never look back, darling. It distracts from the now.”

Edna is a front-line support hero

Trial Team: Red

Stars: :star:

ANIMATIONS

Defeat: Edna throws her newspaper onto the ground and crosses her arms

Basic Attack: Edna hits an enemy with her newspaper, dealing Y damage

SKILLS

White Skill: Security System
:sparkles: Fantastic Damage
Edna presses on a control button, having some guns pop out of the ground near Edna as they shoot each enemy 3 times, dealing X damage within each hit, granting all allies a shield that protects allies from X damage for 7 seconds

Green Skill: Get Over It
:sparkles: Fantastic Damage
Edna Mode goes the nearest enemy to her and slaps them 3 times with her newspaper, dealing X damage within each hit

Edna also decreases the enemy’s basic damage by X

Blue Skill: Flamethrowers
:sparkles: Fantastic Damage
Edna presses on a button on a remote control, having some flamethrowers descend from above, shooting fire at all enemies. This deals X damage over time to all enemies for 5 seconds

This skill also shields allies for X HP for 5 seconds

Purple Skill: No Capes
Whenever allies are shielded from any source, they gain 2 stacks “Capeless”

Each stack of “Capeless” may resist the damage and effects of an attack that has an area of effect

Allies may gain 50 energy whenever a stack of “Capeless” is removed

This effect may fail against allies above level Z

Red Skill: Costume Designs
For every stack of “Capeless” they have, allies may now gain Z basic damage for the rest of the wave whenever they are hit by an enemy

Allies are also shielded from Z damage for 4 seconds every 14 seconds

Shield may fail to be granted onto allies above level Z

Additional Stat Boosts:
+Z Max HP
+Z Skill Power
+Z damage to Tank role enemies with “Security System”

X = Skill Power; Y = Basic Damage; Z = Level Cap

I love how you use old characters from launch and use them in friendship

What stun?

Is this per star or total? Per star is way too OP, total feels underwhelming.

This bit is a little confusing. At five stars, allies with a shield are invincible when below half health.

I never erased it… (it was from the original concept)

I’ll decrease it by 10% per star then

Only the shields get stronger. Should have clarified

Edna Mode!!! :grin::grin::grin::grin:

Does this include attacks like Violet’s shield roll and Nicks lemmings??

This seems like a little bit extra as an effect as this skill already has a lot going on, just a thought.

But that is it!! I love your idea of a friendship with Yzma based on that tailor scene. Great job.

Plus, it is Edna Mode!!!

I don’t think they count as AOE damage… do they?

Still, that’s a bit much. I’d tack on a line saying the effect only occurs when shielded.

That makes more sense. :upside_down_face:

I have no idea, that is why I asked.

If by AoE you mean hitting multiple enemies, then they do…

If by AoE you mean one hit dealing damage to multiple foes, but not necessarily all, then I guess it wouldn’t…

Is there a residential professional gamer who can help me out??

In the end, it is up to you as this is your concept.

An AOE is the area of effect. It’s like a drop of water (the attack) that ripples the body of water until a certain point (the AOE).

So… no

As a gamer, I also rule ‘no’. The shield roll and lemmings hit the entire screen, while AoE targets everything within a certain area.

Meh, fair enough, your concept, your rules.

Perblue should use your concept as inspirtion to add edna mode

That is offensive you know @Chief_Lionheart_XLI

I know they won’t add Edna, but I could give them inspiration

Oh okay cause I thought that- nevermind

Maybe we would get a costume shop! Like how we got War with shank!
