Today marks the 30th anniversary of the The Lion King. It was 30 years ago this day, that a movie that they made as a lark became one of the most celebrated Disney movies of all time. Spanning two sequels, two TV shows, a Broadway musical, a remake and a prequel of the remake on the way, The Lion King has more than earned it’s place in Disney’s circle of life.
