So are Basil and Mushu, and their portraits are full-size. Personally, I like Gadget’s portrait the way it is, but it is admittedly different.

Although Gadget size is small, I don’t think the portrait needs to be small. Judy and Basil also have a big portrait. If the portrait is too small, it is inconvenient to see the face.
