The problems with Challenger Quick Wins

So, first and formost, I’d just like to say that I’m not referring to it’s current bugged state that allows for MONSTROUS amounts of points and am instead addressing it as a standalone facet of Challenger.

My primary issue with it is that a large amount of points can be effectively impossible to get not due to the strength of the enemy lineup, but because a handful of heroes are able to bypass the time limit. The obvious examples of this are Randall and Hades with their revives and invincibility (albeit aspects that can be countered with the likes of Tron) but two examples that personally come to mind are Olaf and Judy, purely because their revival animations actually take long enough for the point decay to take effect.

Another problem, though this is also of a problem of the time limit in and of itself, is the time stop effect that occurs when a hero activates their white skill. This effect wastes time and in severe cases can even result in a lost (example : using Mickey and Kevin Flynn against Hades can result in the continuous activation of Mickey and Flynn’s skills hyperextending Hades’ invincibility until time runs out)

To this end, the current bugged nature of the quick win points does present something of a solution. Having quick win points tied to fast individual hero defeats rather than the whole team, thereby limiting the points lost due to a single stubborn factor.

But that’s just my thoughts on the whole thing, at least.
