Token Exchange

I think there should be a token exchange market where we can swap tokens at a specific rate (maybe 1:1.5).

Due to the variety of game modes (along with their own market) requiring different skill sets. Some of us do not have the time and/or money to build an optimum team for all the game modes. And the items (specifically hero chips) in each markets are different.

With the exchange market, players can focus on only 1 or 2 areas and still manage to purchase items from other markets but at a higher price (due to the exchange rate).

I think is a great idea, but i hope in the future updates they introduce this thing. Better if the change cost is 1:1 for our convenience. We must remember that it is a game anyway, they must not profit us more than necessary.

That would be… bankrupt.

The easiest Tokens to farm are City Watch Tokens. Kevin Flynn is in Arena and is probably one of the most OP Heroes. So, by your statement, you can exchange your City Watch Tokens for Arena Tokens which you will use to buy Kevin Flynn?

Not sure where you got this idea, kevin flynn is nowhere near OP. He’s decent for countering cc comps but he’s still on the lower end of useful heroes compared to others that are way more well rounded

But proving my point, (not Kevin Flynn), the Token Exchange should not be 1 for 1.

I agree that the exchange rate should never be 1 for 1 as it would defeat the purpose of having multiple markets. If they wanted to make it 1 for 1, they might as well scrap all the tokens and simply have 1 universal token and 1 market.

It would be a great feature, but I can’t ever seeing it being 1:1. What would be the point of different shops and currencies if they were equal?

My point exactly. To make it more balanced, they could even have different rates for different tokens, depending on the ease of acquiring it.

The placing of each token / currencies based on their ease of acquiring it:

  1. Gold: This is self explanatory… you can get it by doing almost anything (except for Arena, Coliseum and Heist)

  2. City Watch Tokens: You can get this at the completion of every 3 levels. It’s easy for High Leveled players (Hard doesn’t increase the number of City Watch Tokens). But it might be hard for Lower Leveled players, but once they level up, it will become easier, assuming that you always set it for Normal.

  3. Surge Tokens: You can obtain this through Teamwork of your Guild. Teamwork makes the dream work! If your Guild don’t work together, then you and your Guildmates will have a hard time obtaining Surge Tokens.

  4. Heist Tokens: You can literally get this by completing a Heist, no need to give more details about that.

  5. Coliseum Tokens: Only exclusive for Level 44? and up Players. Coliseum is easier than Arena imho, so it would be easier to promote and get some Tokens as well

  6. Arena Tokens: The hardest to obtain out of all :expressionless: . That kind of tokens are pain in the neck, especially if your position goes from high to low and low to high. It would make sense to pick this as the hardest Tokens to get.

CONVERSION OF CURRENCIES

Gold:

  • At least 400 Gold for 5 City Watch Tokens

  • At least 750 Gold for 5 Surge Tokens

  • At least 1500 Gold for 5 Heist Tokens

  • At least 3500 Gold for 5 Coliseum Tokens

  • At least 5000 Gold for 5 Arena Tokens

City Watch Tokens:

  • At least 5 City Watch Tokens for 280 Gold

  • At least 20 CW Tokens for 5 Surge Tokens

  • At least 50 CW Tokens for 5 Heist Tokens

  • At least 100 CW Tokens for 5 Coliseum Tokens

  • At least 250 CW Tokens for 5 Arena Tokens

Surge Tokens:

  • At least 5 Surge Tokens for 525 Gold

  • At least 5 Surge Tokens for 14 CW Tokens

  • At least…

I’m still thinking about the conversion rates. If you have any suggestions on how this should improve, I’m open to them!

Don’t think gold should be part of the exchange. Reason being it can be bought using diamond which in turn can be bought using cash. Tokens as a whole should require at least some form of effort to be put in to earn.

While it is true that purchasing diamonds will give you more chances to earn those tokens (ie. extra tries in arena etc.), players are still required to actually play through the game mode to get those tokens.

Furthermore, allowing tokens to be bought using gold would make it too easy for regular players to get some of the more elusive items. Unless the exchange rate for it is super insane.

Yeah, if you have any revisions regarding that… I’ll change it. Can’t have 10,000 gold for 5 tokens, amirite?

The easiest method i could think up of in place of an exchange market is for tokens to be sold in other markets like how gold cards are sold in the token market.

Maybe something like surge token is sold in the heist market, heist token is sold in the coliseum market, coliseum token is sold in arena market, etc. And maybe a random token is sold in the mega mart.
