Gamemode: Tournaments

Definitely a great gamemode for making new friends, in this new gamemode players are put with a partner and fight against other pairs of players in a classic format: tourneys. Four teams of two go head to head in 2-part battles, and only the best combination of heroes and friendship disks will be victorious. When there’s only one team remaining, the former teammates duel for the win!

  • Works similarly to heist
  • The main challenge is smart selection of heroes, as players are matched within 5 levels of each other, and divided up according to their ranking for team score, and auto is forcibly enabled.
  • Everyone in the contest watches the matches in real time.
  • Health doesn’t regen between fights, but energy does.
  • 60 second breaks between fights to chat with other contestants and switch out your heroes.

I know invasion is in the works, and this wouldn’t happen for a long time even if you did use this. Maybe in April or July?

Stamina and Grinding

The current amount of grinding is insane. I have two P4 heroes, and they both require badges that need over 100 chips to craft. It takes about 40 stamina to get 1-2 chips, if I’m lucky. Not to mention I use heroes that you can only get from the campaign. A way to tackle this without making it way too easy for new players or forcing players to join a huge, pressured guild would be to reward players for completing chapters of the campaign, from chapter 7 and up.

  • Reducing stamina cost by 2 on normal and 4 on elite
  • Increasing stamina storage by 1
  • 2.5 seconds off the time it takes for stamina to regen (It may not sound like much, but it adds up)
  • Increased drop rates raised (Purple/Orange chips raised to 1/2, hero chips raised from 1/3 to 2/3)
  • Rewards stacked with each chapter, drop rates only increased for the completed chapters

The drop rates and reduced stamina cost only apply to the completed chapter.

Heist Afk Player Fix

A way to deal with afk players without an abusable kick system. To initiate a kick, the player must be inactive for 60 seconds or more. After the kick has been started, a message appears on the player’s screen that will kick the player in 30 seconds unless dismissed. If player’s heroes are in a battle (or being called to one), the heroes will disappear when the battle is finished.

War Matching

Matching guilds based solely on how much they win isn’t working… I have a two person guild with someone else who’s inactive a lot, so I don’t stand much of a chance against larger guilds. But this tiny guild I’m in just got matched against a level 3 guild with war perks and over 40 players. Immediate annihilation. War matchmaking needs to take the number of players in each guild into consideration.

Costumes

Yet another way to use hero chips, costumes would be a way for paying/hardcore players to show off/use up chips without any advantages over other players. Costumes unlock when a hero is 6-starred and orange, and can be bought for 100 chips.

    Dash/Violet - Suits matching their parents (Dash/Mr. Incredible, Violet/Elastigirl)
    Jack-Jack - Syndrome suit to reference Syndrome saying he was going to make Jack-Jack his sidekick
    Frozone - Bowling suit
    Nick - Police uniform
    Judy - Meter maid uniform
    Finnick - Elephant costume
    WALL-E - White/Blue recolor to match EVE, with a roach sticker on his side
    EVE - Red stethoscope-ish object from the film
    Mike - Braces and hat from Monsters U.
    Sulley and Boo - Slick hairdo and jacket from Monsters U. for Sulley, Pajamas for Boo
    Hiro - His super suit
    Baymax - Recolor to his suit to look like his first
    Aladdin - Prince outfit
    Genie - Disney tourist outfit, complete with Mickey ears
    Woody - Prospector Pete recolor
    Zurg - recolor to look like Darth Vader
    Rex - Battle armor
    Ralph - Fixed suspenders and sleeves
    Vanellope - Princess Costume
    Calhoun - Cybug recolor
    Merida - Her cloak
    Moana - Her flower crown and dress from the end of the film.
    Scar - Mufasa recolor
    Ursula - Bridal costume
    Stitch - Spacesuit
    Mickey Mouse - Epic Mickey recolor and paintbrush
    …and so on, as references to films and series

Please also change the trials and port drops now. They have been stagnant. Increase the no of chances on ports to 5 and also the drops. To inc the fighter lvl from 80 to 81 it takes almost 8,9 turbo xp drinks while I barely get 3,4 turbo xp drinks from ports on alternate days. Not to mention I have 15 heroes around 80lvl. Calculate how much grinding it requires. The xp that we get from campaigns is negligible. Trials should contain orange badge bits now and more common purple badges should be included too. Badges like Triton’s Trident, purple crate , Atlantis jewel are required in huge numbers and they are only on 1 normal campaign and not included in trials. No of bits req for 1 badge should be max 35 for purple and orange badges, 50 is too much considering every hero requires the same badges and multiple in numbers. Also there r 43 heroes now. Read this @Polaris please and let developers know.

The costumes idea is nice and all… but as far as I could go and pay for it in chips would be 50 each xP

Todays update should have helped, now that we know port rewards will be doubled for vip 4 players and others can watch an ad for increased rewards.

I agree reducing stamina cost would be nice, or increase stamina regen.

This adds up to less than 1.7 stamina per day, or 50 stamina per month. It doesn’t sound like much because it’s not much. For me an increase in stamina needs to be bigger than that, atleast 30 seconds so it’s noticeable.

Yes it’s a good improvement but considering the 95 cap lvl and 43 players it’s still insignificant to me. Because the no of chances are still 2 in it. So will get maybe 8 drinks in 2 days. Both ports should be open daily with 4,5 chances and increased drops. Cause heroes will keep on adding in game so it is really necessary at this point. Trials are still unchanged, orange badges should be added.

The Tournament mode sounds fun. But they better focus on fixingcexisting problems first. To the ones you have mentioned I’d like to add a few more :slight_smile:

Stamina and Grinding

  • Stamina Reg should be much higher.

  • There should be more free Stamina refill. Like additionally at 5-7 am.

  • Buying Dia crate should always come with one Stamina pot. There is a lot of upside in this one. For you guys, it means more dia revenue.

  • Hero chips should drop 100%. The stamina cost is just absurd high with low benefit.

  • each chapter should cover more purple/ orange badges additionally to the higher droprate.

Arena, Colloseum

  • Smaller Group which can contain max 50 player at the same time.
  • Rank 6 to 10 there should no time penalty
  • After one month the league get a shuffle so that there no one get stuck with the same group.
  • Reduce time to get a promotion.

I also want to introduce a new mode as TS. It is similar to heist just for guilds. This mode is only during the weekends available. So that more people can tune in.

Capture the Flag mode
SETUP

  • Each guild can form three teams with each five members.
  • One member can’t be in more than one team. So you have to think carefully how to group the members.
  • In each team the heroes comes only one time. So like in heist.
  • One member in each team must be flagged as flagcarrier. Every of his heroes has one flag which makes a total sum of five.

GOAL

  • You have to search and defeat the flagcarrier.
    You can’t see which heroes is flagged as carrier.
  • Each player can initiate an attack to the opponents heroes. Like in heist where you can fight the thieve.
  • The mode just go max 30 min.
  • After 30 min the Team capturing the most flag wins.

REWARD

  • like in guildwar the winner gets three treasure chest. The loser get only one chest.
  • if there is no winner both teams get one chest as well.
  • The Flagcarrier should avoid fights.

The thing is, this is with each chapter, so it stacks. There’s only so many times you can reduce the time by 30 before there’s no cooldown.

Did get that part, so with 12 chapters it would be 30 seconds total. :+1:
