Unfair permanent silence and rough punishment and call

Hello PerBlue,

I really just want to say that this permanent silence I have is not worth me saying “Knight shut up” and preventing me from “being harassing”, which I was not. Legit, the whole reason I said that was because that certain player was being extremely rude to me and insensitive. I had to put my tough skin on and really just stand up to him. Two, you don’t have very clear guides on what you can and can’t say on the chats, they are fairly vague and at times you just use that vagueness to get people silenced, also people that don’t like you or want you off use it to their advantages to get you silenced which I find unfair.

The way that silenced are seem broken in the fact that you either play by the people in the server’s game and take insults and do what they say or you get reported until you get chat silenced permanently which is really unfair. Is this the type of environment you are creating PerBlue? Just the higher ups abuse of the lower levels or people that are just sensitive and trying to find some relief in letting go of stress and problems at times. I believe at least I should get one last chance of being unsilenced and taken away from permanent ban, and it seems I am not alone. Many people in my guild want me out of being silenced and would even mention their concerns to the support.

Like, I was a leader of a guild and I had to step down not only due to handling personal life but due to this permanent silence which prevents me from recruiting for my guild or even communicating with others to guide them or get guided. I just hope you can forgive my past sins as I stopped with the cursing and the “harassment” I’ve been accused of. Please do give me this one last chance and take away my permanent silence. Please I beg of you, it will benefit me and others possibly in the near future.

P.S. if it helps me gets unsilenced more I’ll even change my name to something nicer rather than something out of a mafia movie.

I agree, PerBlue needs to learn what the word “harassment” means as well as clarify in the chat guidelines what you can and can’t say as it is very vague as I said on this forum comment to them. Plus, there are people that really harass people and they don’t get permanent silence nor silence but those that try to defend themselves are considered harassing people and get permanent silence for no good reason other than a bunch of people disliking them are reporting him. It’s ridiculous really!

Well I mean I was messing, it was a persona I created for the game to match with the name and guild. If it makes you want to help me get unsilenced then I will change my name to something nicer, not say anything Mafia related and just change my overall guild name to something nicer. Like that was me in the past I actually let that go when I got my second to third temporary silence. Like I don’t do that anymore, I have changed and spoke normal.

To be honest all I want is to be unsilenced and be given a last chance to prove that I follow the guidelines. Also, I want Perblue to be more clear on chat guidelines to just make sure I follow it to the letter as well as to know what to say and not to say. As I said on my post, it is vague. I believe my silence was a bit too harsh and unfair. I just want redemption and to grow in this game and community once more.

I play on server 11, I play under the name Hades Styx I have been silenced before some were just some were right stupid on the end of the people who run chat and the reports that are made. Recently I’ve been silenced permanently, and I sent a ticket to show my displeasure, of how and why I got reported I told the people to “Please Shut your pieholes”, I was reported and now I’m silenced permanently /Forever I’m enraged, I’m a paying player I can’t use Vip chat or Heist or Global the only thing I can do is friends and guild chat and I feel like I’m one in a million and I’m treated like trash and I’ve got enough screenshots to show and confirm my story I want my justice and not be ignored by your staff!

There seems to be a common theme, they are silencing the easy people to silence. If you say shut up you’ll get banned for life but if you say some gross things or beg for relationships, nothing gets done. Seems a bit backwards to me.

There isn’t anything for Polaris to say, they’ve answered this on similar threads. If you feel you’ve been unjustly silenced or are wanting clarification on your silence, submit a ticket to Support.

If you got permanently silenced, then you’ve been warned. Per Blue is very clear: it’s not your job to moderate other players, it’s your job to build a supportive community. If you think someone isn’t doing that, block or block and report. Telling someone to shut up is not a positive community.

“General discussions and conversations are welcome. If you are here to make friends, we welcome you! Global chat is meant to allow players to ask each other questions about the game, give each other advice, and build a positive community.”

If your chat isn’t doing that, then don’t hit send.

Then they should recalibrate the automatic system and do something about the support system that barely supports anything how can an automatic system see the difference between one thing and another it’ll just work like a Netflix system and assume that’s the just action accordingly to what it sees its unprofessional and doesn’t work how about actual moderators in the chats or do you not want to pay people to do that. Its not the kids that are paying you to be able to develop the game it’s the adults

As per their response you’ve been warned multiple times. in all of those warnings you still said something that was offensive and not building community. Saying what you said to everyone in a channel is the opposite of building a positive community, and I’m fully supportive of PerBlue silencing you forever.

I’ve been reported before for things that were put out of context or proportion I’ve been reported for things that were absolutely ridiculous who are you to judge something you know nothing of I’ve been and stick by the fact I’m unjustly silenced forever

The standard isn’t “offensive” (which it is), it’s “build a positive community”. Telling people to not talk, and doing so in a rude way, isn’t building community. And you do know it’s offensive: it’s not something normal people say when they’re being kind.

You’re silenced. You have had many chances to reform and haven’t. Use it as a learning opportunity to improve how you interact.
