Gacha Battler? Never heard of it besides name only, idk, this is the best in terms of games I myself have played but I’m sure there are other ones that are great for new players

Agreed. Also, I’ve been playing Fire Emblem Heroes as an F2P player since its launch 4 years ago and still do to this day. Quite frankly, I’m used to not being as high-rank as whales and I instead just focus on collecting characters and enjoying the game that way.

Gold would be a awesome look visually, but as we all know, that won’t be the end either, these types of games never end when it comes to ranking because it keeps players playing
I wasn’t referring to the game series where “gacha” is a part of the name, I avoid it and its fanbase like the plague. “Gacha battler” as a genre is a game where you draw heroes from a lottery system and use them in fights (typically RPG style).

Not gonna be whiny, but people buying Guaranteed Cosmetic Crates is what made PB do the decision in the first place. I want the old way to unlock cosmetics, so that all your money be gone.

Some think Olaf is annoying, some may consider him a “anti villain”, Silver is so maybe that’s the reason, idk
I am actually asking why Red+4 tho. It’s like you guys don’t want any new players tbh. Even if one has Orange+4 it’s a pretty long shot to R4. And if it’s a bait then…
Personally, I would start one new server at P2 for the testing. If it’s even viable with monthly cap raises to raise like… every hero out of 130.

Wait a second, is it that the you second you start playing on the server, all the heroes you have will be R4? Because that doesn’t sound bad for players that just want to play with OP teams early on instead of doing the grind. I personally don’t, I love the grind, there is so much more reward that comes with it, but I definitely know those that would like to begin strong immediately

No, you can buy a Booster thing (likely for 100 dollars) to bring your heroes to level 110 and Orange+4. Thus I smell a huge bait.
Otherwise you play normally, from level 1.

PBs are probably the best examples of the genre - this, Portal Quest & Dragon Soul (closed).
There are many others though, mostly JRPG style, some with even more slopey P2W and some that may be a bit friendlier.
