Im receiving notifications but game itself aint working

Loutre, updates are happening pretty regularly and the downtime is expected but still plenty of players accidentally updated their application before the server update
I want to suggest that PB need to improve the in-game announcement so that:
- less player will be locked out of the game before the server update (for those who update the game before you schedule the server update)
- less player asking why and how long the downtime will be (this happens on every update and the same questions are asked over and over again)
Perhaps the in-game announcement should be:
- 2-4 hours before the planned server update, the in-game announcement will remind players that today is the update and please do not update your game application until the scheduled server update
- 30 mins before the server update (as usual), the in-game annoouncement tell the players about the server update in 30 mins, the server update will take approximately 30min-2hours (or whatever numbers PB wants to put in there), and the players need to update their game during this time
- Additional announcement: check the forums during downtime
This will inform the players much better, let them know not to update before the server update, let them know how long the approximate downtime, and less questions in the forum

Loutre will inform us when the update is complete and you’re able to login. Please be patient. If for some reason the update takes an extended amount of time, we are usually compensated.
